Just a fun fact that the Concavenator is in fact a real dinosaur, and its full name, Concavenator corcovatus, means "Cuenca hunter with a hump". It was just most likely incapable of hunting through the sand. The cryolophosaurus existed too just with it being a modded Ark creature, it needed some extra effects

I think the Aberrant Concavs look gorgeous. Also, why don't you try to tame them with a Baryonyx? They don't have a oxygen stat and are very fast on land. And you could use a Karkinos to pick them up and carry them to a safer area.

Fun fact... at the moment you can just normally tame a vanilla conca with darts, the aberrant and X versions still need C4. I cannot wait till the TLC for Deinosuchus is done, from snipits and sneak peeks i have seen its gonna be amazing.

I tamed Concas too, and I highly advise everybody to do NOT leave them behind. Their torpor falls quite quick.

before i first tamed those myself, i watched the older video you made about those. from that, i got the info that one c4 gives it around 1400 torpor. then i went to the wiki page and calculated the torpor each level had. never thought about just going next to them and checking with that magnifying glass.

I actually did whatever I could to get Ark on Steam JUST SO I could use Ark Additions. I absolutely love the Acro. It brings back that sense of worry when you see it that you used to get when you first started playing Ark and would see huge things roaming near you. They're so strong and crazy. The taming method honestly needs some more fine-tuning as the hitbox for the narcotics portion of the taming method is very weird and difficult to hit, but otherwise I absolutely love them. I got this really cool naturally-colored greyish-lavender with red and purple sides and a light mint on the belly if I remember. Very weird-sounding but looks cool. I really do wish they'd bring them to console though. Out of any basic mods, AA alongside some quality-of-life mods should be there. Edit: with the swimming, it basically seems to pop you out wherever the usual threshold is for the "deep" water where any character would typically start swimming versus running, I would assume. So basically that invisible line that dictates there is actual water there to the game (since in most places you have to get to around that line to even drink, let alone swim). That's my guess anyway.

Once you do go to tame acros if you do it solo, or even in a pair if you can get another to help out feeding I would suggest using your Velonasaur and defiantly use biotoxin over narcotic! Get it trapped like you would a Giga and use a rifle to get it into defense mode then go ham with heavily stam based Velonasaur. Has worked for me every time taming them at least ^^ Be at least an option to try~

The “bug” that’s going on with the tracking system where it tracks tamed creatures should be an actual thing. There has been so many times where I’ve been at my base and my animals have just wondered off and then I can’t find them. What I would do is either keep it the same way ( don’t make it as glitchy obviously ) or make a separate tab where it’s tamed creatures and unconscious/taming creatures. What do you guys think?
