Daylight Savings Time sets the clocks back an hour once a year and forth an hour once a year. This causes there to be two days which have odd hours, one being 23 hours long and another 25 hours long. The days vary by country that recognize Daylight Savings Time, but it goes roughly like this. Some day around early spring, at 2 am you set the clock forward an hour. So you just skip the 2 o'clock hour entirely. Instead of going to 2 am, it's not 3 am. That day only has 23 hours in it because you skip the 2 o'clock hour. Then, in a day in late fall, at 2 am, you set the clocks back an hour. So instead of 2 am it's now 1 am, you repeat the a o'clock hour. This day then has 25 hours in it because you're repeating an hour.
