I think the term mob comes from mobile. In the very old days of text rpg's (muds) it was a way to refer to the npc's that move (over time they added a lot of functionality to them). The term mob just stuck.

I would never recommend hunter to a beginner on hardcore. They will easily wipe the entire group in every dungeon with their pet running around aggroing or right click pull shit everywhere.

bro. next i want to get all these streaming into playing ROTMG great bullet hell MMO PERMADEATH game where the only mechanic that matters is learning to dodge while grinding stats and gear... and now exalts (end game stats) its an MMO that i played off and on back in college and now may have a decent rework coming to the base map that helps new players and the overall player experience and just the overall QoL stuff got me back into the game a few months ago.
