Hey! Great video! This really made me chuckle because your mum really reminds me of my mother when I've tried to teach her flute. Mothers really do make the most entertaining students. 😊 I'd recommend teaching breathing and basic single tonguing next. 👍

Great video! I'm interested in learning the flute. It's been the instrument that I've always wanted to play. However I have a disability, which means I can't stand up without holding onto something. As I would need both hands for the flute this would mean that I'd have to sit down in order to play it. What I want to know is do you know of any techniques that would in particular help someone who couldn't stand up to play the flute? I already play the clarinet if that helps. Thanks!
@allysough4905 жыл бұрын
It depends on what you prefer. Personally, I prefer to practice sitting down, and if you are able to do that comfortably with good posture then playing sitting down would be perfectly fine and that should make it so you can play flute. Happy playing!

@justforfun92368 жыл бұрын
I'm pretty sure she said that flute was made of gold. Don't quote me on it
@zacharycoronado67498 жыл бұрын
No flutes are made of raw brass (close enough to bronze, which isn't used in instruments), but student level flutes are made of silver or nickel-silver plated brass. Professional flutes are mainly made of solid silver, or as you have been seeing, gold plated silver, or sometimes even platinum played silver (super expensive though).
