If you could add dampeners to the beast I think it would absorb the bumps landings and handle so much better, considering how much it weighs it definitely wouldn't hurt, lol This may be a good idea for MNC or Vitivon etc to make some a arms and shock towers to fit the dampeners 🤔 Just a thought 🤷🏻 lol

Hey Buddy, a question, could I use an 890kv motor with 8s in the DbXl? Or will the engine get too hot? I use 12 and 13 sprocket for racing on a 1/5 scale track. I await your response, I know who you are A person with a lot of experience! Thanks for your Videos

Dude I've never owned one of those, but I must say the gear train sounds pretty dry and loud! Parasitic drug in friction is a killer! I'm sure you know this I don't want to preach to the choir or insult you but that thing just sounds horrible

A lot of the noise comes from the centre diff especially in stock ones as you need to run the spur and pinion dry. I’ve also found that due to the size of the drum on the spur that houses the diff gears cause the spur to piñon dry noise to be amplified. Apparently there is a fix online somewhere but I’ve never found it

I think 12s and the new motor is just over powering for this rig. I'll keep mine with the stock 8s and motor.
