I Tested 1 Star Pokémon Mystery Boxes

Mystery packs concept is a scam and 99% trash. Didnt need this video to know this. Opening pokemon packs is a gamble by itself to begin with. Those mystery packs just create another layer of gamble. which lower your chances even more to make a profit or get what you want for your collection. as the creator of the mystery pack obv didnt do this to lose money. He did it to sell lower end stuff for higher profits. I prefer to control my money. and either buy singles i need or offical pokemon products that i know what packs and items i am getting. What a complete waste of money to prove a point which should be logical to everyone.

Not all of them are bad, but I will say that every zoo mystery pack is absolute garbage. They will put extremely good cards and packs for famous people to make other people want to buy it. Every normal person buying it gets absolute garbage

The sparkly Mystery Power Boxes have always given me pretty good pulls. They retail for $25 at Walmart where I live, so I'll grab them occasionally when I just wanna try for a Moonbreon because they almost ALWAYS have Evolving Skies. Also got one of the chase packs (the first time I bought them) and it was an XY Evolutions pack. I'm fairly new to Pokemon (1 year) so opening a pack even just from 2016 had me shaking lol

I have a good bit of money invested into graded/sealed pokemon for the long run, my question is, what is one card or sealed product valued between $500-$1.5k that you would shove your wallet into? Might as well be a reprint. It's past its original run. That's why prices are going up on the cards because they're scarce. Filling the shelves with them is just releasing more copies to the world, bringing down that scarcity.
