as for the brad mondo shine product, the reason everyone is having such a bad time with it with their hair being greasy and stiff is because they’re using too much. his products are extremely concentrated so you don’t have to use very much. hope that helps if you decide to try it again! also his shampoo and conditioner is fantastic and it smells amazing!

Hi Hope! You used what looks like a philbert brush. You need a tiny angled brush actually. You can get them for eyeliner brushes. Make sure to use dove soap as a conditioner to smooth out the brush extra thin. Trim if needed. I say this as an artist who discovered partway through this is by FAR the best brush for straight lines or tiny dots. Sometimes it’s easier to add a dot from the tiny pointy tip and the reconnect. i used the xmondo hair gloss and my hair felt super soft but yeah it wasn’t very shiny or anything afterwards. i never had problems with my hair being greasy or weighed down though so i think the reviewers didn’t fully rinse it out. i will say, the instructions say “apply to clean, dry hair” so you’re supposed to wash and dry your hair and then apply it, leave it on for 20 minutes, and rinse. that’s why it doesn’t say to wash and condition, because you’d be stripping your hair of the natural oils if you did it again
