6:15 The entire bottle needs to be filled with whatever is in there (gas, liquid) and if any comes out, some has to go in. That explains how if the cap is on, nothing is entering the bottle and nothing can come out. If the cap is open, something *CAN* enter and something can leave. According to this situation, the water only comes out when the air comes in. To conclude, air is filling up the wasted amount of water that has been pushed out; and if no air is entering, no water can be pushed. Hope this helps! Edit 1: dang my notifications are blowing up 👍

the water bottle experiment explanation: This phenomenon is an example of how air pressure and water pressure interact. Here's a step-by-step explanation: 1. When You Poke Holes in the Bottle: When you poke holes in the side of a water-filled bottle with the cap on, water doesn't leak out immediately, or it leaks very slowly. This is because air cannot easily enter the bottle to replace the water that would leak out. The air pressure inside the bottle is lower than the outside air pressure, which helps keep the water in. 2. Taking Off the Cap: When you remove the cap, air can now freely enter the top of the bottle. This increases the air pressure inside the bottle, balancing it with the external air pressure. Since there's no more pressure difference holding the water in, gravity causes water to flow out of the holes. 3. Putting the Cap Back On: When you put the cap back on, air can no longer enter the bottle to replace the water that is trying to escape. This creates a vacuum effect above the water level. As water tries to leave, it creates lower pressure inside the bottle, which counters the pressure pushing water out. Eventually, the pressure difference becomes enough to stop the water from leaking. This happens because liquids are incompressible, and without a way for air to enter the bottle, the pressure inside becomes unbalanced, stopping the flow of water. It's a simple yet fascinating demonstration of how air pressure and gravity influence fluid dynamics.

And also unspeakable the cap thing is caused by blood pressure so it’s like if you get like a paper cut or something and you put a Band-Aid around it. It stops bleeding because it stops a little bit of blood flow and it gets the scab.

6:09 When you cover up the lid to the bottle, the water is pulling down but that air up in the top of the bottle is becoming a vacuum. That means “low pressure.” The air pressure outside the bottle is higher, so it actually tries to push into the bottle through the bottom hole. In doing so, it keeps the water in
