Shin pads are not designed to break on impact; they are designed to absorb and distribute the force of impacts to protect the shin and lower leg from injury. When a player experiences a strong impact, such as a kick or collision during sports like soccer or hockey, the shin pad's purpose is to disperse the force and prevent serious injury to the player's leg. The materials used in shin pads, like foam and plastic, are chosen for their shock-absorbing properties. While shin pads may deform or show signs of wear after repeated impacts, their primary function is to protect the player rather than break.

I have the same shinpads as the cheap ones, just black. They do the job, all that matters to me

I glad I watched this Now I have to refund my expensive shins

I feel like the cheap is worse because when you make contact like in sports it’s supposed to transfer energy rather than brace

When the shin pads that just stay hard will hurt way more than the one that takes all the damage for you and breaks

You were at the StoneX Stadium. Home ground of Saracens RFC, winner of the Gallagher Rugby Union league. They are classed as the best in England. Their youth teams are apparently exceptional which I can confirm as I play for them

Expensive ones train your shin to get more used to the hits and get harder and the cheap one tend to break faster and cause injury
