I got that $30 mystery box for $17.99 at walmart. I actually got a silver tempest, obsidian flames, and the biggest suprise was an ancient origins.

Meaning Its worthless. There is very little market for error cards nowadays. You literally can't give them away, no one wants them they have no value the rarity of the error is nothing. Only old magic cards would be worth it and now magic cards entirely are worthless

I like to get the mystery boxes every once in a while just because they sometimes have a fun assortment of packs. The only time I ever got anything cool from these boxes was several years ago when I got an Umbreon Prime as the "foil" card (back when it was only worth about $15 lol). Got the same card graded pretty recently actually and was pleasantly surprised when it came back as a 10 😊

The older collection boxes from Fairfield are far better than the modern ones offer, simply because you get a variety of bulk cards from different generations and a figure.

Firstly I want to say that I LOVE watching your videos weather it be Pokémon TCG videos or Pokémon GO. Second I need to say that the WALMART Mystery Power Boxes are TRULY seeded 1:10 with vintage packs! I opened one and pulled out a semi rigid protective sleeve containing a sealed 1st edition jungle booster pack! It’s still sealed and will be getting graded soon! Edit: my Mystery Power box was a 30$ box with FIVE packs not 30$ for 3. ALSO they mostly contained silver tempest and I actually got both of my Lugia V alt art out of these power boxes.

Walmart use to sell 5 pack mysteries with "vintage" odds for $30 which I think is alright, but I pulled a shiny ditto Vmax, smeargle alt silver tempest, Larvitar Alt Obsidian, Reshiram V full art Silver tempest and steelix alt art paradox rift in one box, all luck fs but it was fun hopefully they still make them at that price I haven't seen one in a while.

To me it feels like all those mystery boxes are purposefully made to mislead people who know very little about pokemon cards. It is (almost) never a good deal but the make it sound like it is. I don't believe anyone except small children and people looking for a gift for someone is buying this.

Pokemon GO is definitely not the worst SWSH set. I'm not saying it's great but it's got alt arts and other cool stuff, including stamped cards which haven't been in a set since EX Era
