I think you got it wrong. The baseline as far as I know is not used for signals neither confirmation. Its purpose is solely indicate the direction of the operation. Doesn't matter if the baseline gives an entry signal.

Hi TradeIQ Love your videos brother. Can you please test the Nadaraya-Watson Envelope indicator by lux algo. This indicator as I understand seems to trade off of reversals. However, I tested many signals on many crypto pairs and they seem to be accurate. Would love your thoughts on it... I used a 1:1.5 risk reward ratio and put the stoploss at the arrow that appears. I wait for the next green candle after the long signal and then I place the trade on the next candle at the close of the candle. Vice versa for short signals.

If it's positive in 7 years of price data, that's actually good. What you want now is more frequency added. Perhaps we can increase frequency by going lower time frames and trading other pairs. Of course, not sure if it's profitable in lower time frame

Yes you are correct it’s terrible. And it doesn’t surprise me with his alleged ‘near 100% win rate’. If that’s true then, with this system the past 9 trade profits likely get wiped on a single loss. With a near 100% win rate I’m actually surprised he managed to generate profit at all. Everything about this video is suspect.

Lux Algo's indicators often REPAINT so be careful... I do like SuperIchi, but you need to play around with the baseline settings for your security being traded.

The only consistent profitable strategy is trading with the 20 SMA/SMMA/EMA whatever your preference is, break and retest for entries. R:R is per your money management. Everything else is just chart noodle soup.

For crypto my own strategy = 1Hour with Normalized MACD and SSL Hybrid only the Base_Line1. Long when the Normalized MACD crosses up (The histogram in the macd turns negative to positive is the trigger candle) and is above the ssl hybrid and the color is blue. Short the vice versa. Amazing results in crypto. You can even long if the macd lines are above 0, but reduce the R:R to 1:1.5 or if the lines are really up there, 1.1 R:R. If the lines are bellow the 0 line, 1:2. Thank me later.
