Hi @GyanTherapy thanks for addressing the storage issue which @GeekyRanjit did not touch upon. Please do also tell the audience how much of the 128GB storage is available to the user as it seems Samsung OS and bloatware are using up as much as 60GB on the S23, which is why they have discounted the 256GB one at the start. This means that folks who buy the 128GB phone for a huge sum will get only 68GB usable storage, which is a shame, they should get at least 80-100GB.

This is false. Samsung calculates the apps as part of the system unless you tell it otherwise. Samsung by default calculate apps and their cache as part of the system partition. Weird design choice, but the actual system partition on a fresh phone is around 20GB. You can change this in the storage settings if you prefer.

@@saigv1033 Thanks for the clarification. Can this be verified with a screenshot on a fresh 128GB phone please? It seems Are Technica and others seem to be confused between GiB and GB but no one seems to have a concrete picture. It is a fair assumption from a consumer that if they buy a device with 128GB storage, over a 4 year life cycle of a device they should be able to use 100GB of that storage. I personally believe that governments should now step in and mandate two storage partitions for all devices including laptops, a system one of X GB reserved for OS and OEM apps and the other user usable Y GB which is the one that should be advertised. As OS and bloatware increase and expandable storage seems to be out of fashion (corporate greed), it is only fair that consumers get their fair share of storage.

I had already faced heating & CPU throttling issues in both S20 FE & S21 in past while my One Plus 7t is still running great though I had purchased that in December 2019. Hope Samsung has fixed at least the heating one which automatically led to throttling.

@@heyitsdarsh Yes, I have been using S23 from Feb 2023 and on One UI 6 the SOT has reduced to 5+ hours which was earlier at 7 max. I’m not a heavy user but the apps sync email backups use more battery, and I charge it every night. That’s normal for such a phone.
