The thing about these highly skilled players, it doesn’t matter what weapon they use they could have on all blue weapons and blue armor, and still whoop your ass. It’s all about their movement ,map awareness,and their skill to predict where you’re going to be before YOU know you’re there. And the fact that they’re tracking your dome piece with their mouse and hitting every nine out of 10 shots. Very tough to deal with.

The 4 pay to win ornaments are saints ornament for vig wing, that crimson ornament that removes the studs, this NTTE ornament, and that moody lookin chaperone ornament (which I believe still works but it’s such a nominal improvement now that it basically doesn’t matter, just throwing this in to reminisce. I actually think the queens guard ornament is 100x better on chappy). What’s funny though is a lot of people really love Elsie’s and it has the same scope and model as NTTE. If there are any other great ornaments let me know so I can keep an eye out.

I don't think they'll nerf HS because the viability of the perk depends entirely on the viability of pulse rifles in general, sure it can roll on sidearms but there's usually better perks for sidearms, and even without HS pulses are really strong and can hit TTK (comparatively) really easily, i think (read hope) that pulses in general catch a slight bit of like a stability or flinch resist nerf and we see other underperforming perks catch a slight buff.

I used to swear by Messenger a while ago, but since then I got Conditional and had been looking for an energy pulse to pair it with, and so far Elsies has been my favorite one, it sticks like crazy and is almost unfair in some matches. As you said I think theyll nerf the go-to perks like HS and maybe even Zen moment in the near future

I found HS surprisingly not that useful, D2Foundry says the TTK is the exact same for body and headshots and the additional aim assist from HS isn’t a must because Zen moment is already so cracked. I’ve personally been using Kill Clip and it’s still super cracked

Relentless is my goto also frost but the one im using currently has enhanced keep away and enhanced zen moment on it and i love it tbh i mean yeah i wanna actually try headseeker but for now its the godroll i have and zen moment is oh so special on it to its really nice for hitting those heads for the 2 burst

Not going to lie when I saw this pop up I was like please save the best for last and the wheel did not disappoint. The Messenger Adept is my personal favorite Pulse Rifle in D2. It just feels so damn good. I unfortunately never got my God roll. I did however get a 3/5 Corkscrew - Moving Target - Headseeker. If only it had Rico and a Stability Masterwork, I would have been stoked as that is my desired God Roll. Fantastic video as always brother.

Back in season of the seraph when high impact frames and aggressive frame pulses got there reticle stickiness nerfed it felt nearly impossible not to two burst. I love my Messenger but your right, using it feels way to easy still especially now that you can run adept counterbalance without negative ten range. I run rapid hit HS and it feels better than my 5/5 Elsie’s hands down. Bungie need to do something about high impact pulses imo.

I swear man, this game is just a joke now. I can’t play the game in quickplay 80% of the time. People playing like it’s 6v6 trials of Osiris and the abysmal ability balancing and the terrible spawns. I miss D1 so much man. Idk how they have screwed up matchmaking and pvp so much in this game. D2 may have better QOL but D1 was a better game.

340s are waaaay to strong and have been forever. I love pulses and 340s are king, even without Headseeker. The whole archetype needs a slight nerf or every other pulse needs another mild buff to open more options

You have to be very consistent, I took a 5mo break and came back playing to a 0.6 KD this season and after playing consistently for 3 weeks I’m back to a 1.7 KD. You have dedicate the time

Pulse Rifles are too good imo in pvp. I do enjoy the new Heavy Burst and still love my Syncopation. Think they are just overtuned, no real negatives in combat.
