DID SOME TESTING AFTER THE RECORDING AND IT SEEMS AS IF THE SOFTWARE DOES HELP. I'D CHANGE THE TOLERANCE TO 10% OR 15% 🙂 ( I have discontinued AUTOFPS as I suspect it may be exacerbating the stutters )

It looks like your Frame Generation is turned off. Look at the MSFS_AutoFPS at around 1:48. Also, I don't know if you've downloaded the new update 0.4.1. You now have a checkbox to keep it on top because remember MSFS's FPS gets depleted if in the background, so when you have the AutoFPS window in the foreground, whatever FPS it's showing is not really MSFS FPS. But with the new 0.4.1 update, you can have the "on top" checkbox checked, and then click on MSFS without losing the AutoFPS window. Then you'll see the actual MSFS FPS.

I dont think anything is going to fix this sim. Much worse in VR. I've been through everything. I believe much of the stuttering and load fails are due to the cloud downloading speeds.

I must express my agreement with the sentiment shared. The necessity for a new engine, such as Unreal Engine 5.3, is becoming increasingly evident. In an attempt to isolate the problem, I disabled live weather, suspecting that cloud rendering might be a contributing factor. However, the simulation continued to experience severe stuttering, indicating that the issue extends beyond mere graphical demands.

A couple of tips, change DLSS from ultra quality to DLAA and turn AMD fidelity FX sharpening down to zero. You will get a much clearer image. I will also say edit your user.cfg file and turn film grain off, it will make a HUGE difference in the clouds as well as getting rid of the shimmering you see on the horizon.

@@SergeisAdventures What kind of FPS are you getting now?

The situation remains largely unchanged, with the stuttering issues persisting. I am unable to pinpoint the exact source of these disruptions. I have discontinued the use of MSFS2020 AutoFPS, as I suspect it may be exacerbating the problem. The stuttering disruptions continue to be a concern, and there hasn't been any significant change in my FPS performance, neither for the better nor for the worse. I also disabled the LIVE weather feature to determine if it was contributing to the stuttering issues, and it appears that it is not the source of the problem. I even went into my BIOS and disabled all overclocking, reset my bios settings to factory and enabled XMP profile. (Not to mention I have reinstalled MSFS about 5 times since I first was part of the beta (DEC 2020) .... Now that I think about it ... It could be 3rd party mods that I have installed but it's hard to say. If that is the case then there's nothing I can do at this point. I either play with mods or without mods. Really a shame.

@@SergeisAdventures How much VRAM does your 3090 have? Also, are you flying vanilla flight simulator or are you like me and have TONS of add on scenery? The BIGGEST thing I have noticed it your terrain level of detail is set to 400 and your object level of detail is set to 200. Those are some BIG numbers your trying to hit, I have a 5800X3D 64 GIG of 3800mhz DDR 4 ram and an RTX 4090 and I don't even try to hit those numbers. Try backing down the TLD to 200 and see what happens. Do you use rolling cache? If so how much? One experiment I would love for you to try is to do five to ten flights in the EXACT same area. Take off from the same airport and fly around a specific city, try not to deviate in any way. I expect you will have plenty of stuttering on the first couple of flights but if the stutters get less and less and disappear pretty much altogether we can say you are just trying to push to much data to the sim from the internet. The reason for the repetitive flying is that it will pull data off your rolling cache and not off the internet and is a way to troubleshoot that issue. Have you tried a VPN? I know that sounds weird but I discovered that Comcast was throttling my connection to the MSFS servers and I got tons of stutters, when I went encrypted they had no idea where I was getting my data from and couldn't throttle it and the stuttering went away almost completely. I know that is a lot of info but I will let your try that to see if any of these suggestions help. I have spent hundreds of hours on this particular problem and I do have some knowledge about it and hopefully we can get you situated.

Can anyone tell me if the i9 149000k and a 4070ti could run flight simulator in 4k? Thanks a lot!
@SergeisAdventures
@SergeisAdventures 8 ай бұрын
The Intel Core i9-14900K processor, paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti graphics card, should be capable of running Microsoft Flight Simulator in 4K resolution. However, the actual performance will depend on various factors, including the specific settings used within the game, the complexity of the scenes being rendered, and the overall system configuration. For optimal performance, it is advisable to ensure that your system has adequate cooling, sufficient RAM, and a fast storage solution.

@@SergeisAdventures thanks for your fast response! I’m thinking in putting a corsair ddr5 16gb x 2 ram, is it good? And what d you mean by fast storage solution? Tbh is my first time building a pc, thanks!
@SergeisAdventures
@SergeisAdventures 8 ай бұрын
@@sebastianvelasquez7653 You're welcome! The Corsair DDR5 16GB x 2 RAM is a solid choice for a high-performance gaming PC. DDR5 RAM offers faster speeds and greater bandwidth compared to DDR4, which can enhance overall system performance, especially in demanding applications like flight simulators. It's crucial to ensure that your motherboard supports DDR5 RAM before purchasing it. Additionally, you should check the supported RAM speeds of your motherboard to make sure it can fully utilize the speed of the Corsair DDR5 RAM you're considering. Motherboard specifications are typically listed on the manufacturer's website, where you can find details about RAM compatibility and supported speeds. Make sure to match these specifications with your chosen RAM for optimal performance. By a fast storage solution, I mean using an SSD (Solid State Drive) rather than a traditional HDD (Hard Disk Drive) for your primary storage. SSDs are much faster in terms of read and write speeds, which can significantly reduce loading times in games and improve overall system responsiveness. For even better performance, consider an NVMe SSD, which connects directly to the motherboard via the M.2 slot and offers even faster speeds than standard SATA SSDs. Since this is your first time building a PC, make sure to do thorough research and follow a detailed guide to ensure everything is assembled correctly. There are many resources and tutorials available online that can help you through the process. Good luck with your build! 🙂

After doing some digging around this is what I have come up with: - Intel Core i9-14900K: This processor is compatible with the LGA1700 socket on the B760 DDR5 motherboard. - B760 DDR5 motherboard: As discussed earlier, this motherboard is well-suited for your Intel Core i9-14900K processor and other components. - 32GB DDR5 RAM: The motherboard supports up to 192GB of DDR5 memory, so your 32GB configuration will work perfectly. - 512GB SSD: The motherboard has multiple M.2 connectors for PCIe 4.0 x4/x2 SSDs, so your 512GB SSD should fit and work without any issues. - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 4070 Ti: The motherboard's PCIe 4.0 x16 slot is suitable for your graphics card, ensuring optimal performance. - 850W 80+ gold power supply: This power supply is more than sufficient for your components and provides efficient power delivery. - Cooler Master Hyper 212: This air cooler is compatible with the LGA1700 socket and should keep your CPU cool under load. - Cooler Master H500M chassis: This case should accommodate all your components comfortably, with ample room for airflow and cable management. Hope this helps!
