Kid Flash is a prototype (also at SFOG) and is basically a brick at both parks. the parks got them for cheap, and they have been down almost 9 months at this point.

This is why I’m worried the merger of Cedar Point and Six Flags will be the downfall for Cedar Point. It’s had a reputation of being one of the best parks in the states and Six Flags as a whole has been trending downward because they don’t take care of their parks well enough and they desperately need renovations or new rides. I live near Six Flags Over Texas and most of the rides are closed most of 2025

This is actually often regarded as the best six flags park, discovery kingdom is actually regarded as the worst, if you want to visit, go to Vallejo California for that.

I've never been here but on paper, it seems like it should be one of the flagship parks of the Six Flags chain (even merged with Cedar Fair). If it's not just because they can't keep any of the rides open, that's pathetic and disappointing.

SFFT *is* one of the flagship parks. 2 things to take note of: 1) the park is full of "first of it's kind" and "prototype" rides. . . so yeah, they break down a LOT. but they also come back up very quickly. so when a ride goes down? wait it out and go back a little later. 2) both Texas SF parks are year round. So they don't have an "off season" for maintenance - which results in sometimes rides being down for refurb/repair during open days. it happens.

Wonderwoman is always closed. I have gone on trips that lasted 5 days in a row for wonderwoman to be up for 1 hour on 1 day and closed the rest of the time.

@@marks703 I had a worker tell me that even if nothing is wrong with the ride that supervisors may elect to close, and keep closed, rides based on certain numbers in order to make numbers not look bad. Maybe a ride isnt getting enough people wanting to ride it, or everyone is only riding that ride so they close it to inflate the other rides numbers, and such.

@@nesmanmain0001 yup. .in the 40's several of the B&Ms can't operate. and the LIM Launched Poltergeist is affected as well. and if it's cold AND windy? several won't open because they tend to Valley, and cause an issue.
