I love how you call things animal based brisket rather than saying regular brisket ❤️❤️ little word changes like that make all the different

I make the OG brisket all the time. I've made a giant tub of the seasoning so it halves the prep time. I also add the pulled stems of four king oyster mushrooms into the dry mix. It's creepy good.

cool compare, thanks for this video. I made the wicked kitchen one the other day but with beet root powder, trader joes smoked paprika and mushroom seasoning also, didn't have enough vwg so washed some whole wheat flour with it and it came out fantastic. I couldn't stop eating it, just amazing.

I know it is a US thing to dive every roast in BBQ sauce or the like, we usually don't do this over here, and I have a feeling it touches on the raw quality of the roast

Thanks for the comparison. I've been making gluten steaks for 40 years and think my version is better than anything I've tried recently. Am going to try the brisket.

Just found your channel and I'm hooked! I recently got into a bunch of the Be Hive products (recommended by Thee Burger Dude) and didn't realize seitan could be so amazing. You have some awesome looking recipes here I'm definitely going to try out. Keep at it man!

Would LOVE to try these versions... HOWEVER.. if you've never tried Connie's Rawsome Kitchen Corned beef... I think would be amazzing version of the brisket tweeked... She is QUEEN Imo... she makes an amazing Parm... Im just ooh partial to Connie. She really helped me theu the vegan world.

@Stephanie-vn6ir Same 🥰... Mommy Tang has amazing vegan Korean recipes and is equally responsible for how I have made it thru the Vegan world.. if you can.. please check her out. But go wayyyy back to her early recipes... they are simple and low fat.. I make her Kimchi Pickles a few times a year. THEY ARE THAT DELISH.. 😋👍

I really don't get why people would wash flour instead of just buying gluten. For Yessica's recipe do you think it would make a difference just to start with gluten?

Thanks - I just always forget to buy it online. I'll have to throw some in my cart now. It's so widely used as an ingredient in recipes, you'd think it would be widely available.

It was just what the recipe called for. I wasn't able to find a great answer on the difference in the products so I subbed the paste/water.
