tbf Messi (apart from the bug) wasnt about the Ballon D'or, as the Ballon D'or take performance within a season, and world cup was last season (in december 2022). But TOTY and FIFA The Best take performance from January and December 2023, so Messi basically got TOTY and The Best for having a mediocre 2nd half of a season at PSG and playing in the MLS for the 2nd half of the year
