Best demo I’ve heard EQ and reverb really help this sound great. Love that dreadnaught sound

I bought one from Franklin and love it! You don’t get a factory warranty through Franklin. Don’t leave them plugged in. It will drain the 9 volt fast.

Also just a full disclosure Franklin is a division of MIRC so they take guitars that didn’t pass factory QC and fix them and pass the savings on to the customer
@EJBGuitar11 ай бұрын
Yeah…there’s a video on KZbin where the main guy there explains what they do. Gotta keep your eyes on them because every now and then they have something cool and rare or even something they fix up themselves that is like a one-off or something!

@@EJBGuitar when I got my first from them it was a banjo about 10 years ago I always looked at it like it was finished in America.

These were not factory seconds. Just a ton of excess stock. They arrive in unopened Fender boxes in absolutely new condition. There’s just no warranty.

Just got mine today from Franklin Guitar Works on reverb as well! 😂😂😂 👋👋 Mine was $599 free shipping which is still a steal. But the $1200 price tag on these retail are gonna be tough to sell. Especially when the American version is $1800. The Players version should be priced at $849 retail, then they would fly off shelves because of the huge amount of value over the American version. At the $1200 price tag for the players version, the consumer would just pony up the extra cash for a the American version.

Great video brotha, you’ve got a good sound mix on everything and I can actually hear the demos. I also appreciate the songs you chose to play. This is a nice, well explained review of the guitar and it helped me in my research on it. I think it’s something that I’d benefit from getting, although I think I’d prefer the offset body instead of the tele. Keep rocking man!

Thanks man - appreciate it! I agree, I’d much prefer the Jazzmaster shaped version, but they didn’t have those for $499! 😂

Great job on your review! I had one and ended up selling it. Are you running any IR’s because you are getting some very nice tones in the recording.
@EJBGuitar10 ай бұрын
Thanks! No IRs in this demo. The majority of this was just into the interface with added reverb…anything else I tried to note in the description at the bottom.

A guitar cannot be polarizing, only fear and hatred are polarizing. Nice playing. I love mine. Thank you. Why does everyone try to make it something it is not. Like a telecaster in 1946?

@snorrebang7197 - Not great! Definitely not meant to be played acoustically IMO.
@sgblues42387 ай бұрын
@@snorrebang7197 It’s not really usable other than fairly quiet practice. It’s in between an unplugged electric guitar and an acoustic guitar. There are demos of the unplugged sound. I think of it as practice mode.

Really nice sounds. Acoustic strumming sounds are great. Any tips on how you eq-ed it ?
@EJBGuitar6 ай бұрын
TBH, I don’t remember exactly. Most of it was just as simple as adding a little high end and taking out a little bass to try and give it that acoustic “zing”…the electronics inside it do some of the work to give it the sounds.

I picked up the MIM model. Anyone have success using thru a modeler such as the boss gx100, helix, headrush etc?
@RobSmith-rn3ie4 ай бұрын
Is it doing some kind of digital emulation thing or is it using real pickups? Like the idea of blending an acoustic and electric tone. Trying to decide between this and a Schecter c1/ae Cat's Eye.
@EJBGuitar4 ай бұрын
Kind of both…there are pickups, but there are also electronics inside that shape the tones.

Thank you for the video ❤ Can you please tell what should be a proper distance between strings and fretboard on Acoustasonic player with acoustic strings? Mine are almost at 1/4 inches at the 12th fret and it feels to high. And if it is, how to lower it? If you can help me out, I would be forever grateful.
@EJBGuitar9 ай бұрын
That s way too high. There are basically only two things you can do on this guitar…sand the saddle down to lower the action at the bridge, or you can use the micro-tilt adjustment in the neck plate to tilt the neck back some that will effectively lower the strings. Look up a video here on KZbin about how to adjust the Fender Micro-Tilt - it’s too much to try and explain in these comments, but it’s an easy procedure. EDIT: here is a video…just ignore the part about adjusting the saddles since you can’t do that on an Acoustasonic…you’ll just have to make small adjustments until you can lower the action to where you want it…kzbin.info/www/bejne/bZbOhGeBd7KjjLssi=nVSfJboQrweEWK1w
