Set up for New meta. Not Hard tp grasp. And Even as somebody who played without Pouring money into the game, i can say its not as Broken once you get hold of some Answers to her. AR Offense/Defense i always treat them as P2W, so up to rank 20 i dont rrally mind getting my Arse handed to me when facing The 10+ whale sets. Now... Next Refines are gonna have Beast slayer, im almost certain of it. (BEliwood and/or Petrine Its early for Petrine. But BEliwood is prollly next in line to get one.) That so gives Value to Byleth because of Ruptured Sky. (for those who Got the PROMO Byleth unless i remember it wrong) recent Unit release Y-L'arachel has an excellent counter for Edelgard which she can't counter because her B skill is probably a Better fit for her kit. (Null Counter or Whatever... Basically, dazzling Or vulcan weapons are effective ways of attacking her) Fallen Lyon/Raven Tomes are low key a Counter to her too. So my best bet is BEliwood or Petrine for availability reasons. Give em Ruptured Sky and call it the FEdelgard Answer

@@MidnightCapricorn2696 Humm (i will do a TLDR AFTER THIS) Candlelight or Flash might of Genersl interest for this matter. Since FEdel wont be using Null Follow-up B skills. After some thought. I went back to reviewing the Young Banner. And found 2 Answers within that Banner. L'arachel And Innes(not in banner, but from the same Batch) L'arachel holds a Less conditional, and All turns"Imhullu" (prevents enemies from Responding unless they have Null Dazzling b skill) FEdel is not one of those units who will run it, because its B skill is Better suited, As its the one that grants her the 40% reduction. Now... She will eat 1 attack Meaning you either go for 2 Strats. Dazzling users first to mitigate her 1st Attack thing And then going for Your Ruptured sky one preferably already charged. And the Second one. Which i just realized it was Way stronger than i was expecting. Young Innes His Bow allows him to nullify Percent Damage reduction when his Super Procs. His Bow is Basically DEAD EYE Except for the Double damage part. In your case its probably late to say Give Ruptured Sky to Y-Innes. (because hes a TT reward) Since hes probably one of 2 FTP answers to edel. Second one is either BEliwood Or Petrine. Petrine in my opinion holds herself Better since her spear Attacks through Res. And FEdel basically Buffs her Defense. Not everyone is using the Svallin Shield on FEdel. But ive already seen some in arena 20 So Armor weakness isn't exactly the Answer here, but in General, Armor slayers are a Must... Since a lot of the armors have to rely on either running D.C. FEdel is not the case. Which is why im not reccomending Armor Slayer. (good to keep in mind if Needed tho) So Outside of Innes and Shinon/Dead eye users You'll need to attack her Once 1st Alternatively. Theres also... Daring Fighter. Which is Exclusive to Christmas Marth duo (worth noting since its a Vessel for Dead eye. And a B Skill that allows him to Double a unit which normally isn't Doubled because of Pseudo Wary Fighter) Null Follow-up might also be in your best intrest which is why i thought about Fallen lyon... But im not sire if hes a decent Answer. He has that Colorless Advantage for free. But im not sure if hes a Good Answer since i dont have it to try it out. The others ive tested them out on Arena, with good results. Its a Hard answer But to be honest, if were playing without a Wallet. We've already been there from day one. I dont reccomend busting your wallet to keep up with the game. But You do you.

Soon we will get a unit with built in close/distant counters, atk/def/res/spd solo 4, desperation/vantage/quick reposte, NFU, guaranteed quad attack all built into their weapon. Their B skill might just look like this “always grants dmg reduction 40%, enemy cannot attack unit, heals 20 points of damage after combat, all stats +20, cool down count -5, unit can also move 5 extra spaces if no ally is adjacent. C skill might look like this “ If player owns FEH pass, treats all enemy stats as atk/spd/def/res -20, turns penalties into bonuses x4 (penalty -7 becomes a net bonus of +28)

The counter is already out, it's Byleth. This player just did bad with her ending turn in front of an infantry school, with her base kit. There is obviously a lot more than just her. Like Petrine, Beliwood, and Young Innes just to name a few. Don't worry about seeing her in AR too often. At least not in defense teams. Solo and bond conditions are some of the worse things to try and utilize for the AI, and this is no different. Even if you are running an all beast/dragon team there are only a handful of these types of units that are actually good, and all of the mythics that meet these conditions are really bad. Edgegard is much better on the players hands, than she ever will be in the AI's hand.

Pretty sure Byleth would have won if she weren't in front of Infantry school. Afterall her weapon alone nullifies half of Edgegard's kit, and Ruptured Sky activating on the second hit means she wouldn't deal with the damage reduction of Edgard, and simply hit with a strong nuke. Since not many beasts can survive a RS hit without damage reduction. But it's pretty clear this player doesn't know what they are doing since they have Reginn as their 6th unit, meaning they aren't scoring well.

One mistake that they did was placing units in a position that allowed fedelgard to kill. Not only did they take down byleth, but also funny red horse person. Even if they did survive, they would need all their units to win, or at the very least not get cheesed

@@toms7703 I pulled a lot of Baby Lyons though, slapped Close Foil and Lull atk/res on my +6 one and found out that the little guy counters a lot of problematic bullshit: L! Chrom, F! Edelgard, L! Leif L! Sigurd (not orko tho) etc... I could try to +10 him at this point, but I definitely recommend him if you have him

Honestly if instead of Altina they attacked with Reinhardt and then their Edelgard they could have probably pulled it back, but they kinda threw Altina to the grinder and let Fallen El get back HP... but they still would have been doomed to a lose anyway with having to deal with Rhea, Camilla, and Duma rushing behind Fallen El.

You can try Astra. I find Astra to be pretty consistent, though setting it up can be a bit of hassle, especially in Aether Raids. (Less so in Arena. I legit have to bump down my scoring because I have to switch from Aether to Astra...ONLY because of F!Edelgard. I have a +10 Duo Lyn and a +10 Brave Edelgard. Yeah, it's tough.)
