I can go one better than your duvet comment Olly, one of the Vulcan pilots on Operation Black Buck (Falklands raid) described air to air refuelling in the Vulcan in bad weather as like "Trying to push a piece of wet spaghetti up a cat's bum" It's actually on a tv documentary. You can tell James is a farmers son, he has that confident stride down to a tee. 😉👍. 90% today despite the rain starting, wet all day tomorrow looking at the forecast.

Your welcome to send the rain to South Australia - we are in the worst drought conditions since 1967. In x2 weeks we will be calling season over (as will most of the state) unless we have substantial rainfall. Absolutely gut wrenching - trying to stay positive 55%. Jodrell bank is well worth a visit if anyone is in the area. We couldn't believe how often the dish moved when we visited a couple of years ago. Thoroughly recommend a visit. Glad you both had a nice quick break.

There's a contractor near me that has a Krone forager plus 1 or 2 Claas Jaguars. Many years ago it was unfortunate for him as the driver of the chopper, where a guy was in a maize field looking for his dog and was in the pass of the chopper and lost his leg from just below the knee. Driver said to me he didn't have a leg to stand on after that.

I live in North Yorkshire and have several farmer mates. They have some cracking land. Going to sicken you now but one owns 4,300 acres over five farms and rents another 1,000. The kit they have is unbelievable, three Class combines and God knows how many Fendts.
