I just love how Russell comes when the puzzle is set down, sniffs and checks it over, then pronounces it OK and walks away. It's like "OK, this looks fine--Winnie, it's all yours! Enjoy!" And then he's back off on his patrol, making sure everyone has what they need and there are no messes, stuck litter boxes, birds needing to be threatened, or things under the closet door.

Love Winnie! She really enjoys puzzle. My ill-tempered 13 year old Torbie (and ruler of all universes, known and unknown) refuses even to bat the food mousie to get some crunchies bc she feels that is not her job, it's MY job. Also, it's so cool how Win is like a wraith and suddenly just appears. Not even a sound then, there she is!!!! Love it.

Some people think cats don't do anything unless it will ultimately result in food. This video show proof positive they also do things for love. Russ know how to do the puzzle, but he let Winnie do it because he loves her. No naysayers. I say "love" because of the way he came back for just a sec to make sure she was happy.

I'm curious... How did Russell get you to do things BEFORE the buttons? Since, he's so obsessed with cleanliness, how did he get you to, One, take care of the litter box when it was full or not working? Two, let you know it's time to empty the dryer (lol)? How old are all the cats? Also, be careful with the cat greenies. They made my cat so sick!! Cleaning the litter box was not fun for about two days until her belly felt better. I recommend the chicken temptations treats instead. They're cheaper and won't cause digestive distress.

Yeah I've never had a problem with them either, and there aren't many hard dental treats for cats so I'm glad they're like crack for my cat lol. I'm glad OP found out their cat shouldn't have greenies though, and that the cat got better! I wonder if it's indicative of food sensitivity? Or perhaps a bad batch. I wouldn't say it's a universal rule that greenies are bad for cats though. If it's a new treat to a cat, it's probably helpful to try it out with just 1-2, for anyone who hasn't tried them. I did that with one of the soft greenies, just 1, then 2 when I gave them, for a couple weeks. Then a couple more at a for a few more weeks before I decided it wasn't causing a reaction except apparently being even more appealing than the dental treats lolol. Truly a high value food!

That’s why Win doesn’t need to use the buttons, Rus speaks for her, lol! Wonder how he knows when to ask? Also I’ld say “food” not stuff. I use food for everything they eat. Eat more food. Eat food treats, eat food chicken etc. also, I get the dehydrated chicken and minnows from Amazon. The dog ones are less expensive per weight and it’s all dehydrated, for treats that is ok as long as they get regular cat food, the dehydrated is pure chicken or minnows (fish). No junk.

Make sure you do NOT buy the "Chicken Jerky" (ie., dehydrated chicken) unless you know for certain it is NOT made in CHINA!!! A hint is on the package, will say "IMPORTED BY [name of well known pet food company in the USA)" and will say, somewhere inconspicuous (in small type), "Made in China." Several years ago, it was discovered that fairly "young and healthy" (mostly) dogs and cats, and other meat-eating pets, were "mysteriously dying from an unknown cause or causes." What they all had in common was, they all had DIARRHEA that wouldn't go away, and they all were given Chicken Jerky treats that was "Made in China" on a regular basis (but imported by, and packaged by big US companies)... Further investigations proved, something, either added in the production process, or in the chicken meat itself, was TOXIC TO ANIMALS, resulting in deaths of thousands of pets!! As a fairly new caregiver to an elderly couple, with a 9 year old Shih Tzu, that had a constant issue with diarrhea, and had been growing lumps all over it's skin... I found out, the husband was giving the dog 2-3 large chicken jerky strips, "IMPORTED" and "Made in China," EVERYDAY!! Within a WEEK -- after explaining, and showing news articles, of the known toxicity of the jerky treats, and subsequent large number of deaths, to the owners, and thus, replacing them with a more healthy treat, "Made in the USA," the DIARRHEA STOPPED, and there were no new lumps on her skin (luckily, after biopsied, they were found benign), and she was more energetic, loved to play and take walks again!! Becareful what goes into your Furbabies' tummies!! Read the list of ingredients and percentages and your pet's needs... Also, where it was made, and research online for any health complaints on the product... Do your "due diligence."

@@noninoni9962 oh yes I got a “jerky” from the same company as the other products which it actually wasn’t and it was not all chicken anyway, I gave it to a dog owner because my cats wouldn’t touch it. I also gave it a bad review on Amazon because it was deceptive. I am Leary of most “cat treats” as junk in any case. But you make a good point about the origin country. There aren’t standards here either but China has no respect it seems for life in some of its food products. I get the Wag chicken breast it looks like shreds of chicken and the minnows look like a fish. Don’t buy coffee cups from China they can have lead!

I love that each cat has his own personality and after seeing the puzzle, will flip up his tail (or basically flip u off to tell u they are done) I have seen more of these puzzles and ' buttons' to press. Its the coolest idea to offer your furry family something so different. We will know for certain they are smarter than most people think. Cats get their own Suduko. The lullaby music sounds like Lou reed on a lot of Valium (a guess?). I have to ask: the white bookcase- where did u get it? I have been looking for a white desk i saw, but can't find where its sold. The bookcase looks exactly like a piece that could be in a set with ' the desk'. Please let me know- I would really appreciate it.
