The Megalo/Lumiose tower parallel is a really cool idea, especially for the “city of light” Lumiose vs Megalo tower and the world in which all light was eaten by Necrozma.

At first, I hated how half baked the Zygarde lore when Sun and Moon should be focused on the new Alola region, not pick up the slack of a cancelled game. But you showed me an excellent argument and I didn’t know Ultra Sun and Moon could be doing a parallel to Lumiose City. I thought Ultra Sun and Moon’s story was just meant to retcon the weak aspects of the original Sun and Moon, but this would actually be great payoff in Z-A.

There has always been that underlying theme of connections between Kalos and Alola if all regions. If it is to be believed, according to nearly completely accurate leaks that just played put differently then what was intended, B,W,B2,W2 were intended to have 157 brand new Pokémon with the CUBE talisman belonging to N actually playing a role in his connection to the last Pokémon in the Pokédex. Being a Giant Green Cobra Dragon Type Legendary Pokémon. The next generation we got Zygarde. The generation after that we got the Zygarde Cube. In leaks of X and Y, it was stated that the story would revolve around holes in the sky and the invasion of Alien Trainers with their own Alien Pokémon to further complicate the fight against the evil organization. Fairy Types would be a very dangerous and feared Type and many invasive species introduced would be Fairies. The very next generation we got Ultra Beasts and Ultra Wormholes. In the Ultra versions we even got The Ultra Recon Squad and the Ultra Kartanvoy Trainer class for only one of the Ultra Beasts. The home world of The Ultra Recon Squad implying that there are other native Ultra Beasts chosen as starter Pokémon alongside Poipole. It's Poison Type actually forming a perfect Type Triangle with Grass and Ground Types. We notably did not get Fairy Types introduced as a malevolent invasive Typing and there are actually no Fairy Type Ultra Beasts that we know to exist. And the human alien trainers are Protagonists, not Antagonists. HOWEVER! We did get Team Rainbow Rocket who even abducted and recruited every Evil Yeam Boss from worlds where they were successful and the player didn't exist to stop them, including Lysandre. Who notably actually has the player press the sane red and blue buttons activating The Ultimate Weapon no matter what choice you make and dooming another world from an alternate timeline. There is no hesitancy or implication that this is stopped or can be undone. You canonically destroyed another world because this version of Lysandre righed it against you so you would lose regardless. And notably after Episode: RR, we see Tram Rainbow Rocker is not stopped or destroyed, because Giovanni escapes through another Ultra Wormhole already deciding which alternative timeline to invade next. And let's not forget Zygarde in Terminus Cave and Guzzlord in Resolution Cave ONLY in the Original Alola Timeline. While in the Ultra Timeline Zygarde is in Resolution Cave while Guzzlord actually took over and destroyed another different alternative world and Ate Hau-Oli City in the Ultra Ruins. The connections between Kalos and Alola were always many and no coincidence and that extends far beyond evolution or the Zenith of mind, body, and spirit.

Hear me out for a second: In legends arceus, we got the next gens legendary group (gen 5s forces of nature) what’s the gen after kalos? Alola. What’s a legendary group from alola? The tapus. Are kalos and alola connected in a lot of ways? yes. So I’m thinking that we get the tapus in legends ZA If this were to happen, I have a little idea how this would happen lore wise, it basically boils down to before the tapus made it to alola, they helped the Pokémon in the Great War in kalos.
