I think fresh start worlds, if they don't even have an updated introduction and tutorialization for new players who aren't just dupe alternate accounts... it's destined for failure.

Its far far far from a horrible game, its just that its flaws are becoming more apparent as it ages and falls behind other games sadly

If you are an old school player or an old rs3 player with decent accounts and maybe even have a premium club subscription....most likely you wont join the "fresh worlds". Why would you? You spent years maxing your account, you have memories with it. Also its only a few months event and then you join the rest of the community! I think this new "event" is more aimed for completely new players or very new f2p players who have nothing to loose! Unless you want to bot it out of sorts or have extra game cash in bonds which your existing account can trade to your new account. P.S. Good to see you up and running. You have got a whole life ahead of you with many happy events! Keep going!

Im with you. Im aware lots of people like replying the game tho. I mean, the whole thing with osrs at the start was to redo your account, fresh. Just didnt need a new name or membership. Now for the sake of new cosmetics thats cool, and maybe if I can buy bonds for NW, maybe. Id like an alt skillcape tbh. But not in a highscore or max account sense. Just one for my fav skill.

CG has been buying more tech teams I don’t see them going anywhere. Also the debt occurred has such a low interest rate that it’s actually profitable to have taken the debt on.

Projects underway at jagex will continue regardless who owns them it just means it adds to the sale package and then its up to the new owner to continue or not

Its apparent jagex isnt making enough money with the recent th promos coming out. Im sure if it doesnt meet the quotas itll be sold again

Ironically, I only got back into runescape and started playing massively in 2012. Dungeoneering brought me back into things and I've been subscribed at $5.99/mo since. Made my first 10m on release of polypore dungeon, was nice... until I got lured in cwars for newly bought dplate. Yikes. A lot of it was coming back to the game and seeing I could f2p as banks now separated membership and free item quantities. That helped, too.

Also wondering if they will improve mobile controls cuz when my paptedo PC dies I'm left with a phone but there are big screen phones and phones that can fold and it's still cheaper in the end and convenient to use phone and they are improving quite good

I definitely hope jagex becomes a public entity instead of headge fund chess peice it will let it be a player owned game they like players with larger wallets well let us play with our wallets in the way we want too.
