All this until I discovered Strandberg. What a massive leap forward. I still love my Fenders and Gibson but when I pick up a guitar these days I always reach for the Strandberg.

I have a 2007 American Deluxe Strat, I love the way it plays also but always thought my custom 2002 Squire Fat Strat sounded better because it has true single coil Seymour Duncan Blues pickups in the neck and middle positions with the humbucker in the bridge. Point being, swap out the noiseless pickups and you'll have a monster of a guitar on your hands.

I’m torn on the noisless pickups. On one hand, the fact they don’t hum is huge. On the other, to your point, they don’t sound nearly as good

Great strat-feel-good-video 😀Love it - I have a sunburst am deluxe 2005 SSS with rosewood fretboard on it - I agree this neck is reaaaaaaally nice - I got mine second hand in 2010 and it has been my preferred guitar since.

Putting a set of Lollar Dirty Blonds single coils made me fall back in love with my Strat! These days known as special blondes but then you probably know that

i have a 2004 am deluxe and the stock pups were noiseless and lifeless lol. upgraded to lollar blackface's(now called Sixty-Four) a few years back and to me they sound like the ideal strat pup! haven't had the chance to try out the dirty blonde's tho
