Shrek 2 on the Gamecube was SOLID. My brothers and I played it for hours. Some of the stuff was actually difficult. I replayed it a few years ago and it still holds up. If I remember correctly, they used the actual cast too.

Speed running is about finding exploits and taking shortcuts the developers never intended. So the worse the game the is, the more opportunities there are to break it open in every way imaginable due to shoddy programming, aka a speedrunners paradise.
