Ok, I LOVE the sticky mat grid. I bought extra ones, cut up and put in my MISTIs, because it works so well. To match to the center, I cut my 1/4 card stock piece to size, and put UNDER my mat and then matched that every time. Way easy. Ink blend and stencil on it, too. It does stain, but, it is a stamp! TFS.

Awesome review Maymay! I’ve seen a few and all of them are great reviews but you go into detail which is why said “Awesome review!” Thanks Maymay!👍🏼🦋

Great demo Maymay, detailed as always. Could you possibly have 2 or more stamps spread out over the area you want to stamp in, just so there's enough space between so the stamp pad doesn't 'catch' on the other stamps?

Thank you for the detailed instructions. However, gotta say that the Gina K Wreath Builder looks much easier. How would you compare the two?

Could you do a comparison with the wheel and mini misti? If you had neither one, which would you choose?
@aprilcattysplace Жыл бұрын
That's beautiful. I think it's always make two and then I'd have one to use as a template later. That way I could stamp multiple pieces when making cards with the template later. So very cool

Fabulous review! I got one a few weeks ago and love it. I’ve gotten much better stamping results that my stamp positioning tool that has dead spots. I also love stenciling with it.

If I had realized from the title that you were reviewing the Stamp Wheel, then I wouldn’t have watched it. I’ve seen 6 or more of these reviews now. I’m glad I didn’t know, because I learned new information and I enjoyed it. Different crafters conceptualize information differently and that affects their presentation. I suppose we just need to find crafters on our wavelength. I’m sight impaired and I’ve really been wondering if it is possible to rub black ink or paint into the etched lines on the wheel. What do you think? I really need high contrast; clear on top of clear is difficult for me to process. I’m obsessed with radial symmetry (wreaths, mandalas, rose windows, etc) I may have bought every system for creating them. I’m not sure the Stamp Wheel is better than the tools I already have. I’m waiting to see how it fairs, but your video certainly moved me closer to purchasing one.

I’m sure you could do that with the ink, I might even suggest drawing them in with a fine line sharpie. However, they are much easier to see in person. My camera tends to over light things.

To make one card, it would take a while, that’s what it seems like anyway, can you use i5 just for regular stamping. Also, Gina K has the jig, a lot less expensive, does the same thing. Maybe I’m missing something here. Please fill me in. Thank you for the great demo

It appears that if you want to use red rubber stamps with this, you would need to make some kind of adjustment. Is that correct? or even possible?
@MaymayMadeIt Жыл бұрын
You would remove the clear photopolymer base. Then your red rubber will fit. I learned that from Simon Hurley, he shows that in his demo.

Where the lines are etched into the perspex, can you buff in some marker so the cardinal lines are slightly coloured?
@melissasilvestre2442 Жыл бұрын
I’ve been thinking about doing that as well. My only concern is them not being able to see the very center of the paper because of the colored lines.
@MaymayMadeIt Жыл бұрын
They are etched and in person they are much easier to see. My camera likes to blow out white so it makes it harder to see on camera.
