Carl! I am the dad of the two boys you kindly took the time to talk to and have a photo with. First and foremost, a heart felt apology for the complete lack of empathy for you losing that bite. I’m sure you can understand that we were just so excited at the time. My eldest ran up the stairs this morning screaming like something horrible had happened. When he calmed down he managed to compose himself and show us todays video. Unbelievable! Thank you so much for including the interaction. As my son said in the video ‘ that was his highlight of the summer holidays….and his year. Keep up the great work and thank you and all your team

I started my own KZbin channel earlier this year and have watched and hopefully learned from you and other KZbinrs . I fish totally opposite to your style my wife is paralysed so I only get to go for a few hours twice a week but have all your passion and love of remote waters . So I lure fish only on remote rivers away from the know hotspots just to make life a challenge. I admire your quality videos I know how much work goes into a sub standard one . Good luck with your vlog and continue to enjoy life and fishing as I have done for over 50 years. All the best from Dave’s gone fishing

Great video as usual Carl, what you saw in the sky was not from the X Files I regret, it was a Starlink Satellite Train, newly launched satellites all making their way up to their 300 mile plus orbit height. I have seen a few shooting stars, a meteorite and many single satellites while night fishing but that train looked really cool.

I was fishing A1 pits and seen the exact same thing, my 2 cousins were in their bivvys and I ran to get them up and tried to get it on video but disappeared behind the trees. And hour n half later, right rod ripped off with a PB. Glad Carl got the footage though because they both thought I was tripping😅 thank you for identifying!🎣 🎣🎣🎣

Hi I'm from Belgium. You guys have rekindled my passion for fishing! I've lost my uncle a year ago who taught me how to fish. Because of you Carl I've bought some fishing material and picked up where my uncle left off! If you are ever in Belgium again, I would love to see you in action 😁. Keep up the great work!
@NobleKorhedron6 ай бұрын
Be grateful for where you are, @SniFc; up until a few years ago, Carp were hardly a target fish at all in Belgium/Holland, and you could find big fish in waters as small as campsite drainage channels! On top of that, you have MASSIVE perch in many of your waters, some bigger than the British record, and Zander are a native species in Europe, not persecuted as an invasive...
@fishwithcarl5 ай бұрын
Ahh man, I'm so sorry to hear that. So glad your Uncle imparted a passion for fishing in you and so happy the films helped bring it back ❤ Thanks so much mate, tight lines!

“I didn’t have a target for this session, I’d be content just existing beside this place” And that ladies and gentlemen is what it’s all about sometimes. Yes it’s great to catch, yes if you have a blank spell you worry, but deep down, it’s about time by the waters edge either with your own thoughts or the company of good friends and family. Thanks again Carl for another great piece. And good luck with the new channel. You have my support as always

Nice vid mate, that star looking thing passing over was a sattelite, i first noticed them about 5 years ago. One night i was stood out for half an hour and spotted 7 of them, all travelling in different directions, the 3rd one i saw was travelling at a constant speed like all of the others, but this one lit up id say 10 times brighter than it was initially, it slowed down for about 3 seconds, whilst lit brighter, then the brightness of it returned to looking like a star, sped up to the initial speed and carried on into the distance, that one was weird. 👍🎣🛸

I have fished a private lake in Poland, really old, the owner used to fish it for a living! So very good stock and old fish. I went for a a couple of nights and only had one bite. This was very exiting as there had been a 20Kg+ carp caught less than a week ago there, and another one followed after my session. I struck and lost a large fish, and the rig. I'm not sure if i tightened the drag too much, or if I had a bad knot, or a combination of the 2!
