Honestly Honey J is so lucky.. She has a good mother that really worries about her career. Despite being a dancer, she still supporting her daughter. In Korea many parents dislike their kids become a dancer coz cannot earn more unless you can become more popular. Also she found a good man..

Honey J was 34 when she got married so I’m surprised her mum was wanting her to wait longer. I think. My parents would probably be quite worried if I wasn’t married by the time I was 34 and I would be worried also. Maybe it’s just because I already know I’ll have fertility issues if I wait too long but they do seem to marry later in general in Korea which is interesting. My mum was 30 when she got married and everyone around me always considered that old. It seems in Korea they put a lot of priority into their careers.

I think for Koreans, maybe for most female celebrities, career comes first before starting their own family. Also there are male celebrities/public personality marrying late in their 40's or 50's - like actress Kim Soomi's son, who debuted his baby daughter Joy but they disappeared from the show quickly since the dad couldn't take care of the baby like the other fathers on the show and Shin Hyunjoon a.k.a "old dad" who now has a daughter but secretly worries that he might not live long to see his two sons and 1 daughter grow because he's in his 50's.

- I think it's because abo______ is a more grave taboo (I might get censored so I didn't finish the word - iykyk) since Honey J is an accomplished dancer and ruthless Korean netizens would tear up her protected image. Also some Koreans and their respective families are Catholics [not all Koreans are atheists as some Westerners fully believe] Even I had the impression that Honey J's own mother was disappointed that her own daughter has her own daughter just because Honey J's mom wanted her career as a dancer to grow [Honey J might be the sole breadwinner of her mother]
