I wish you had your own channel. People don't talk enough about those who are cooking for one. I don't mind leftovers but I have learned how to cook certain things so that they are "freshly cooked" each time. Currently eating chicken cordon bleu for the 4th night in a row and I prepare the roll (season, stuff, roll in plastic wrap, and refrigerate), but don't bread and cook it until I'm ready to eat it. The béchamel just tastes better each time it's reheated over the stove.

@geneyoon61283 жыл бұрын
@@samanthabrown1068 I don’t think the concept of cooking for one rises to the level of “stealing a brand.” That’s like saying Diners Drive-ins and Dives (Guy Fieri) stole from Roadfood (Jane and Michael Stern) because they both celebrate informal local eateries. It’s too vast a subject to be the domain of any one person or brand, and anyone calling dibs on it would be a megalomaniac. Same goes here.

If you have a cash n carry nearby they sell restaurant takeout containers for super cheap and most are open to the public. They aren't made to last forever as they soak up the dishwasher powder smell (at least to me) so handwashing with an unscented soap might be best. I got a pack of 20 of those pint containers he has for less than $5. I also use them to store my dogs homemade food as a single serve container.
