Happy for Trent. Considering that England don't play the same system as Liverpool and with inferior centre backs, I will be happy with Trent coming on if England need to push for a win or are behind in the second half. Good option to have on the bench. His only weakness is his defending which is not to bad for a young player who is still developing. He can go on to be a word class midfielder in his career cuz defending isn't his biggest strength

At first, I was surprised with the final selection, considering the number of defenders that have been selected in the team. Now, I feel it does strangely make a bit of sense, knowing how bad England have been defensively in the previous tournaments. Midfield depth is a concern, CB depth is a concern. Just because these RBs can play different positions does not mean you should rely on that and not take people naturally playing that role

Not all will play RB. He chose less midfielders and CBs. Walker and James can play CB as a secondary position comfortably. Trent can play midfield and Tripper can play LB. They r all primarily RBs but can comfortably play elsewhere.

I think it is a good squad. A bit short on CBs maybe...And thin in central midfield as Henderson lacks match fitness and Maguire has been injured too recently. A couple of injuries or recurring injuries for those two and they will struggle in those positions. They could be a great counter attacking team in this tournament though with players like sancho, rashford, sterling, grealish, mount in front of work horses like henderson and maguire.
