WRITE NOTES I used to do this at the end of every school year and it especially helped in college and uni. I wouldn't be staring at a blank screen thinking How did I do this?? in September and only figure it out by mid-November like everyone else. Write it like an Idiot's Guide to your most tired self. Like a recipe Step 123 and over-write details so you know what you mean by an instruction. Otherwise you'll write a line and think What the F do I mean by that? months later. For example writing a research paper Step 1. Collate (gather) literature review materials, printed out or bookmarked in Current Project folder. 2. Read the titles and summaries only and group by topic or thematically. etc etc. Also works with Software instructions, how would you teach YOURSELF again from scratch? so can include silly personal stories to jog your memory. Anything that works.
