Once I start printing my phone pics on an Instax Wide printer (instead of using the cheap lenses on Fujifilm cameras), I have come to appreciate the incredible saturation and sharpness of the medium, as well as its incredible operating temperature range. My challenge/project the since 2017 was to take pictures of baristas (with their permissions) from around the world who made me coffee and print out an Instax Wide for them to keep. "Don't just Take pictures, Give Pictures."

Hi, Tatiana. Stunning video, as always. My dad had a Polaroid camera. In those days an amazing camera. I speak about the early '70 when I was a kid of 10 years. A camera that gives direct a picture and you don't have to wait a week to get your pictures. Tip, Did you heart of Jozef Sudek. The "one-armed photographer". I know it has nothing to do with this video but I have a lot of respect for this photographer.

I enjoyed this video a lot. First and foremost is your take on printing images. This is my weakness. I keep them electronically but do not print my favorites. I need to do this. Also a project. I love that you chose a project that took you a bit out of your normal photographic routine. Digital instead of film and also instant print. You made the most of the camera’s limitations, and produced very nice images. I think what I got most from this video is that to grow as a photographer it would help to break my routine and work outside my comfort zone. Thank you for this video!
@TatianaHopper7 ай бұрын
Completely agree with your last sentences there, we most definitely need to get out of our comfort zone. I personally think it’s extremely important, I do agree that this project took me out of my routine and what I’m used too in terms of format, camera, lens etc… thank you so much for watching Joe!

Don't sell the Fuji, You will need it again. I love the little fuji. It can do what very expensive cameras can not, print a picture!!!

Excellent video Tatiana, I love the idea of creating a visual journal using an instant camera. I purchased one a while back and have yet to use it since I'm always using my regular cameras instead for every day shooting. I'm feeling very inspired thank you my friend. 😎♥

I'm on eBay trying to buy that camera already. How much is the cost off the films? How many shots/prints to you have per roll/set?
@louhautdavid64517 ай бұрын
I find your instant photos excellent and I'm sure you could make something of them. Not easy because of the size but... Three years ago I bought an Instax Wide and never left it. Instax is my Technicolor. In my opinion, this film provides a distorted but idealized vision of the world that matches the impact of strong memories or dreams. High saturation and deep shadows. One foot in reality and the other in fantasmagoria.
@TatianaHopper7 ай бұрын
Oh that’s a really cool idea, I just checked the instax wide, definitely a format I would like to try too! Thanks so much for watching and thanks for enticing my curiosity about a new format!

Don't worry, I'm not going to start another diatribe about good, bad or unless critiques again. A good introspected video about your photographic career and how you view life. Most amateur and professional photographers become interested in photography to documented the places they've been, to capture their children as they grow or record the accomplishments they've made. Many of you have no idea what a 110, 126 or instant Polaroid camera, well maybe the Polaroid camera.

To me digital photography is a blessing. So wonderful NOT to print. Just havving thousands of images in memory - not mine - and beeing able to recall a more or less random bunch of them now and then. No physical objects, only an extension of my mind. Post modernism one step further - love it!ĺ Happily we are different and printing is just fine if that is your choice.
