You can make a video about how you started this journey, like start youtube and inspire people or when you decided to be best version of yourself... 💙🙂

I also took a gap year and learned so much in that time especially about losing friends and being more independent. I loved hearing your experience 💜

It sounds so familiar. Everybody has a path in life and everytime there are obstacles it's the chance of reinventing yourself. My whole life was shaped towards a career with a technological background. After two semesters of an engineering degree I dropped out and after a lack of perspective in life I started completely new. My new degree in economics was just a smal part. All my life I felt uncomfortable about other people's opinion or I was scared of doing something that seemed strange to others. Last year I went on my first smal solo trip and now I'm on my first solo Interrail. Your videos where the reason I've started travelling and because nobody of my friends wanted to join me I'm doing it on my own. Im roughly half way through with my trip around my home country Germany and I already learned so much about myself and everything surrounding such an adventure. I just want to thank you for your inspiring videos. I think I wouldn't have done an solo interrail without your videos and up until now I regent nothing beside the lack of time i face at every destination.

Thank you for sharing your story! I hope others can read this and be inspired! I'm so happy you decided to go Interrailing, honestly it's the trip of a lifetime... remember to take pictures :)

Hi Lucy! I dropped out of college because of SAAS issues and went traveling for 5 weeks in Europe. It's safe to say there is more to life and ourselves than there is being in the same place for all of our life and going on holidays into Majorca or Ibiza. I loved travelling in Europe and I now have a plan to live there within two years!

My Gap year in the UK has been amazing! I have learnt so much and been able to do things that I would never be able to do if I had gone straight to university! Great video Lucy!

Just love seeing the visuals of this video. I was there in Cinque Terre two years ago. I lived in an apartment in Motorosso for a week. Never to forget these wonderful places. Thanks for refreshing my memory.

These videos help me to zoom out, to see the bigger picture of life again. It really helps in moments of stress. Thanks, I enjoy these videos a lot. Regarding the content: it's so easy to understand a process in hindsight. I always wonder how I wil view this particular chapter of my life in some years. What will I have obliviously overlooked right now? Which mistakes were the greatest? What turned out to be scarier than it was? Much to think about.

Such good questions! It’s so interesting to think how you will views chapters of your life once they are over!

I have wondered how you manage this seemingly luxurious life. This is completely unattainable for the vast majority of us.

I’m taking a gap year right now too. I just graduated high school (unfortunately no ceremony for it since I was homeschooled from 7th grade until 12th grade). Idk how long I’ll take a gap year for, but I’d rather have some time off from school as I’m too afraid of entering an actual college due to me having autism and having bad experiences with public schools.

I didn't take a gap year but after I finished college last year was something very similar cause of the pandemic, had a lot of time to think about myself and what I like

remember to be kind to yourself, exams do not matter as much as people tell you they do! I promise you that your character and happiness is more important than a grade will ever be!

The videos that you are making helps me so much, to appreciate more simple life and good lessons that we learn through them. I decided to pursue studies in ceramics and this is not what society expects you to do but this is what makes me happy and makes sense for me and that's so important ! You helps me so much for knowing what's important in our lifes and I just want to say thanks you so much :) A subscriber from France 🤍

I think the narrative you steered this video is misleading. You stayed on to fifth year completing Highers (the Scottish equivalent to A level, exams which are used for entry to universities for non-Scots). It hardly counts as being “a high school drop out” to waltz off on to a gap yah before studying at Uni. This one is disappointing and really just pushing a false narrative to your audience to be honest.
