You did much better than I thought you would. I thought your buy price was pricey, but you were savvy enough to find a motor with really fat windings. I am completely surprised you got $230 for the steel. That's a stunner. I also think your gantry was at peak capacity, just be careful, that much weight can fracture a leg or foot without even breathing hard. I don't mean to be overly critical, bro. Congrats overall!
@ElectronicWasteExplorersАй бұрын
When I buy big motors like this I try to pick the oldest, tend to have a better copper yield. And about gantry you are right unfortunately it is at peak capacity, I'm working on It to do some upgrades 👍. And "overall" your comment made my day brother, thank you very much 🙏. Feel free to stay around so we can change opinions from time to time 👍😉🚀

M8 time stamp 07:00 using a speed wrench did make a lot of difference , because using a grinder on cast iron would not have worked . I like to use diablo blades ; they're a bit expensive , but I get more than 1 use out of them. Cheers on your success . Keep up the good work. God bless y'all and Merry Christmas to you and all your loved ones

Score the length of the cast case with gas power concrete saw (metal cutting blade) score deep on one edge, use splitting wedge and case will pop open, less shrapnel 7:59
