Level up is 6 XP for 4 gold. Dual purpose is 4xp, 3 gold and 2 gold free reroll.... how would you ever pick level up??? because you can also use the 3 gold to level up more, the only thing is you can only use it once per round. But using it every round is also beneficial because you get value every round instead of only when y ou want to level up
