Well, there were several food spitting lines in this one…😂. I absolutely love how people gravitate towards Wrinkle and his dad! Except for that one cranky looking woman at the ball game whose face I was wishing would freeze the way she was looking down her nose …the side of her nose…like Wrinkle was the most disgusting thing ever! I’d like to think if she had been in less of a hurry she would have been pleasantly surprised…maybe! The subway ride was the best! All those smiling people! And just all the happy people they passed on the street! Spreading joy, love and happiness wherever they go! The world needs this right now!

LOL My girl eggnog was been with me since three days after her hatch. We always lived in the city. San Diego, to be specific. Born and raised indoors, and LOVED life. It's funny that everyone knows WHAT a chicken is.....but they've never SEEN and TOUCHED one. They've never seen one happily enjoying music and art from her stroller. The sight of her seemed to cheer everyone. Her laying an egg in her stroller in the mall during a dinner of pasta. The CROWD. Have you NEVER seen an egg before? Every kid there had to hold it. Perhaps it was the first moment it occurred to them what has to happen for them to have breakfast. Her? I've never seen a chicken that would pause to groom itself, then POSE.....for the cellphone cameras. SO vain. She was nothing if not self-aware. We need more animal ambassadors! It's a darned shame most of these kids have never petted a chicken or duck, never had a PERSONAL connection to those pictures in their picture books. She loved the attention and made sure to look her best when being viewed. That secure gaze only needed a small, delicate hand to come out and do the side to side "queen" wave. I'm so happy to hear you are cuddling a duck! Lucky baby has a loving mommy. Not surpised he goes by "human name." No one remembered mine at all, and that's okay! I was perfectly happy being known as "eggnog's mom" It broke my heart that people remembered for a decade after her death. I'd still hear "EGGNOG?" from the crowd. But she deserved a reputation that outlived her.

I love the term animal ambassadors, those animals have such important roles. Their humans like Human Name and yourself are very special people. Coming back from Comicon on the tram.....LOL My chicken and I were exhausted. She was sleeping on my shoulder and in full view of the people in the back, laid an egg on my shoulder. It obviously rolled down my back and cracked on the seat. I was oblivious until I heard the egg hit the seat, and there was cheering and laughter from the rest of the riders. I cleaned up the egg. Funny how something that happens all the time takes precedence when everyone is tired. Yes, a lot of noise and movement in there. Wrinkle knows she's with you and she's safe. Pretty sure they thought she was gearing up to poop, and popped out a large brown egg instead.
