Finally, a real Cayman owner who tracks their car. My CEO at work owned a Cayman. I mistakenly asked him if he ever took it to the track. Apparently, a question like that is like asking someone if they really know how to drive it, because it got all insecure and evasive after that question.

By the way.. recently learnt that the sport button doesnt only blip the throttle, it also enables the extra cooling radiator. Well worth knowing. I recently got a 981 gt4 as well, its brilliant!

Need a session with Jimmy at the wheel in the dry! Would be very interesting to see what he says with some grip available.

At least the leather seats should be easy to wipe clean, in the event of any accidents...

Very great job Tom! For next driving videos, it could be possible to fix a camera on the pedalbox to film your footwork please? :)

Did you re-enforce the front strut tops?? I have heard they are prone to crack. Might look into it. Love the car!!

Loving the GT4, think you need some 4S’s for moist conditions I found the Cup2’s to be dodgy in the wet at Anglesey in my GRY, but epic in the dry. Out of interest do you use track insurance?

I do miss my Yaris I have to say! I do, via insuremytrackday - for the GT4 it cost a pretty penny but I wouldn't be without it.

Hey Tom! Great choice with the GT4! Are you running the stock Michelin Cup 2? I found they are so hairy in even slightly damp conditions

Thanks Dom. I am indeed - sketchy in the damp/wet but when it dried out they were mega.
