joe I have a question about your setup. What projector do you use? are you using it through an Ipad or computer using the software app for better graphics?

Hey Joe thanks for doing this video, I’ve been wondering how it would work at a range. One quick question if you have time. Is it possible to somehow download or capture the swing and impact videos and share them with your coach. If there is would you consider doing a short showing how? I know its possible to just record the screen during replay but I figured Rapsodo knows this too and would provide an export for sharing.

You can download the swing but not the impact vision. I have requested that along with download of the the shot data for the entire session as CSV as a new feature request.

@@OMG-2 It's only available in the app right now. My understanding is that Rapsodo is working on a web interface but no ETA on when that might be available.

🤣 Thanks mate yeah it will definitely confuse someone haha The shot tracer addition is really cool.. I don't know why the shit tracer is showing up on the impact vision though. I will report it though! I haven't yet as I've been busy however I'll get on to it.

Great video for someone like me who is looking at buying a launch monitor this year. Did you end up comparing these numbers to the R10? I’m between these 2 devices and can’t decide which to buy. Do you know if R10 has a setting for the driving range like this? That’s where I will be using it primarily. Thanks in advance for the input!

Hey mate thanks for that and sorry for the late reply! No the Garmin doesn't have a driving range mode. The numbers themselves are very very similar! Both units are fantastic in terms of data. For me I personally would go with the MLM2PRO now just for that range mode and also the swing and impact vision. Another advantage is the spin indoors. However if you're looking for club data then the R10 is great! You just need to make sure you're aligned correctly with it and then hit parallel to your aim point. Also another massive win for the MLM2PRO is the alignment with the camera... So much easier indoors and especially outdoors at the range.

I noticed in the video you mentioned how you noticed that there was an algorithm boosting the carry numbers to match what a premium ball would carry which would be awesome for someone like me who will use this primarily at the range. However you just said that the R10 and mlm 2 pro have similar numbers for you at the range so do you think the R10 also has some sort of algorithm to “convert” the numbers to something closer to a premium ball?

I thought you needed Internet. How does it work at the range?

No you can connect via direct wifi which means the unit itself emits a wifi signal that you can connect to through the wifi connection on your device. It's like connecting to any wifi network but it will be called Rapsodo so you know which one to select.

Not sure if this is right place, but really desperate for help to get my MLM2 pro connected reliably... I've tried all options (home WiFi, hot-spot, direct connection) and have got OK success on Rapsodo own courses or driving range, but doesn't stay connected to E6 😢. I can get it connected and can start to play, but within a couple of holes the connection drops and then it is impossible to get it connected again. I don't close my Rapsodo app in the background, but clearly something happens that breaks the connection! Please help!!

Hey mate I am the same unfortunately.. the e6 connection just doesn't seem stable or want to hold. I find the same thing the actual unit disconnects from the Rapsodo app while using e6. If you have a second device just try and use it as a hotspot and connect your mobile device that's connected to your MLM2PRO and your MLM2PRO to that.. it might help 🤞🤞. I think we are all just waiting on updates to fix these connection issues. Awesome Golf for me seems pretty stable! A lot more stable than e6..

Hello Joe, I bought the garmin r10 a month ago, it is an excellent device but with the practice balls, it reduces my distance and my data in general, any help that you could give me to normalize the practice balls in the garmin app?

Hey I have a r10. You can adjust the altitude up to adjust for range balls not going as far. I have some foam almost golf balls I use at home but I feel it doesn't get a reading that is close enough that I can adjust for.

Hey mate yeah the best option is to adjust altitude in the setting however this isn't the perfect solution unless you really know your distances with normal golf balls. You could very easily adjust it too much and then think you're hitting it further than you think. This is why I'm not a fan of hitting range balls for getting data like carry distance. For me it's better to work on swing changes like club path and face at impact. Sorry for the late reply!!

Nice vids as usual, Ive just got my mlm2pro, but im having issues with the main camera its very grainy and dark, iven with direct connect and the Pixel 7 pro android phone close to the unit, to bad I cant show a picture of it here, but somethings of, Ave anyone else had this problem?

Hey mate no I haven't seen this.. it sounds like possibly it's a faulty camera I'd definitely contact support! Hopefully it's a quick fix but it sounds like it could be a unit swap.

​@@nathanwhite8199the direct connect mode. So when it asks you do you have a Wi-Fi network.. Just say no and it will then prompt you to connect using the direct connect mode where the MLM2 Pro will put out its own Wi-Fi network and your phone will join that Wi-Fi network.

Hey Topgun so it missed the first two because they were just perfect shots 🤣🤣 Then of course it picked up my complete top which I can confirm read correctly. Then it got the last one.. no idea as to why it missed the first two. I've been thinking about it and maybe I should have tried to use the Rapsodo Range section... Not sure.
