Hey mate, I actually am a GPW Type-S owner myself (keep the car at my in-laws in Shizuoka) despite living in Australia but I do travel back often. I really appreciate the effort you put into the videos and really enjoy the content. I find it hugely relatable as an enthusiast who grew up in the same golden era of jdm cars with an appreciation of the Japanese tuning scene. Thanks for your hard work and look forward to the next video!

Hey Albo, been watching your videos for a while now. Thanks for the effort you put into the videos, you've inspired me to source out a jdm type-s and your tips on the local jdm scene plus places to take your car to for a foreigner is absolute gold. Keep up the good work, really appreciate the high quality content as always. Keen to hit some of the tracks in Japan one day :)

S2000 not for everyone As ryosuke said “S2000 full potential is limited to only a few “ Jk I also spun out in my s2000 through a curvy road turn nothing happen but it just made me laugh because I haven’t done that in a while and man does the s2000 really need precise steering ! Been watching since 2016 or 2017 can’t remember but it’s awesome to see how the channel has grown keep up the great work albo ! Also yea 235 are definitely too small I’m currently running that as well Can’t wait for the next video !

Great video Albo! I had fun watching it. Why do you have both spoilers mounted on your trunk and not removed the oem Spoiler and put your bigger wing more to the rear of the trunk for getting more downforce?
@ALBO2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I like the look of having both a duck tail and a GT wing. It’s not that uncommon even on other cars like Porsche GT3’s. And to that end, I have special wing stands that place the wing further back than normal to compensate for the ducktail.

Hey Albo, you inspired me to get a S2000 and i am also on the way to soon track it! There is a lot to still! Looking forward to your videos! Qq. Wouldn’t it be better to run a HANS device in combination with the 6 point harness?
@Mind2kill2 жыл бұрын
100% yes, with safety devices, your normaly go all in or dont even bother. i mean, cage, harness and Hans device or just run Stock seatbelt and seat.

@@Mind2kill Yes, i wen't all in, aftermarket seats and harness makes the car soooo much different to drive. I also carefully took out all the floor mats and plastic covers, it's intense, you can hear everything and i love every second of it haha

Looks like to start, you guys were falling prey to liftoff oversteer, ...possibly why your friend resorted to the handbrake to get the right combo of grip and rotation, you probably just need to get a feel for your braking and weight transfer if you're going for limits of grip. :) I think you were still engine-braking when you passed the apex, so, traction went byebye in a non-drifty way. Usually you'll want to be back on the power by then, that old saw about 'slow in, fast out.' Might possibly help to loosen the setup a touch till you do get a feel, depending how you learn. :)

nice driving for first time bro, having an ap1 too knowing the behavior, its very snappy compared to other entry level sport cars, letting off while in a corner can be very disrupting to the chassis.. get Assetto Corsa and get s2000 mod or the J's racing s2000 and drive on the Nürburgring for like 50-100 hrs and ill guarantee you will be 10x better! i hate backseatting your driving mistake but I think it will help a lot! conquer the Nur and you'll fly on any other track fr i promise.
