Hi Ben, it is awesome that you can travel and experience so many different places on a budget. The famous expression of Dillydally is similar to saying someone is dragging their feet.

Cheers, Ben! Europe is great for cheap travel. You’re right about dillydally 😂

I grew up hearing dilly dally. I live in the Northeast US. My father is second generation Irish and I’m sure he learned it from his father.

She shoes are a reminder, not a celebration so I wanted to show them! My guess was also that people were shorter to had shorter doors 😂

And now I want to visit Budapest! What a beautiful place! That shoe memorial made me tear up. I love the comments you toss in for fun...Hungary's ghostbusters, the bike comment, so funny. I'm looking forward to Denmark! Thanks, Ben!

Thank you for taking us along with you! I really like the little funny in between random remarks you make, they make me smile or giggle, loved the ghostbuster from Buda or Pest, depending on what side of the river you were ;-) Those ticket prices are absolutely worth traveling... to wander through that beautiful park. Where will you be the next day... looking forward to find out... Enjoy your travels and 保持微笑

You talked about the bedbugs in New York city at $60 per night. There are hotels there that have bedbugs at $200 per night. It's really just a sh-thole
@TravelWithBen1216 ай бұрын
I wasn't really complaining about the price, I was saying that people blamed me for booking a 'cheap' hotel 🤣

So dilly dally, we have that phrase here also. I heard it from my mom all the time. Dont dilly dally get to it. Or let's go. So stop messing around, lolly gagging or procrastinating.

Another fantastic video Ben! I love this series. I have never thought about going to Budapest. You're opening my eyes to lots of new places. I told my daughter about your travels and that I can't wait for the next one to post. She said wasn't he just in Cancun from New York. I explained that was an older video. I told her I'm going to do what you did for 5 days. She thinks it might not be as safe for a female to do it verses a male. Lol I'm going to do it! 😁 Thanks again Ben.

Thanks so much for always watching, Terri! I’m glad that I’m showing you places you’ve never seen before 😊 everyone needs to be safe when they travel, male or female. Definitely do your research and be aware of your surroundings, that’s what I do! I say go for it 😊🌹

Good afternoon, Ben ! Hungarians used to live in Asia bordering China. They made numerous incursions until Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty decided to solve the problem. So, the emperor led the expedition and drove the Huns to Europe where they settled down and mixed up with locals. Hungarians look oriental in general. Remember actress Zsa Zsa Gabor? She was born in Buda Pest in 1917 and died in LA in 2016. She looked very oriental. So, I am glad to see Buda Pest and thanks for the guide !

Oh so sad the “shoes exhibit! It made me tear up just looking at them and thinking what was going through these poor souls minds at the last moment of their lives. Those shoes, which came in all different sizes, could have fit any one of us at different times of our lives. They were meant to be worn when we laughed, talked, cried, walked or ran, stumbled and climbed. They were meant to be lived in. To me, this was the ultimate insult to have those people remove their shoes.
@TravelWithBen1216 ай бұрын
I totally agree, Madeline… Such a sad thing to see and such a pointless thing to happen. I hope things like that are displayed to teach us all to become better.
