Dragonball Z is the anime that got me INTO anime, and sparked my love of the genre. It was what brought my cousins and I together when we were just kids, and it was what gave me solace when the friends I had moved away. Because of DB and DBZ, I have very fond memories of my childhood. Coming home from school to watch DBZ among other anime that aired on Cartoon Network ( Toonami ), to play the countless games on PS1 and PS2. Budokai is forever my favorite DBZ game. I played that for countless hours with my cousin. I'm 33 now, and still I get chills whenever I watch the series. Rest In Peace Akira Toriyama. Thanks for so many core memories. Dragon Ball is the best.

I remember rushing to get home from school to catch the latest episode. When me and my family went out if there was a tv I’d ask the staff to change the channel so I didn’t miss an episode of DBZ.
