I got my start as a mechanic at a dealer that sold and serviced a lot of KTM/Husqvarna/Gas Gas offroad stuff and I absolutely understand what you're talking about when you say you enjoy servicing them. Just a couple hours of good ol' turning wrenches is a full service.

'Murican gas seems way worse for gumming up than our (very expensive) gas over here in Sweden, probably most of Europe as well. Our "regular" is at about 89 'murican and it does have up to 10% of corn-liquor so the ethanol isn't the only culprit. My snowmobile gets used for about 4 months of the year and it starts up fine after sitting for 8 months, same with my snow-blower. I've only had to clean carbs after years of neglect in any small engine, and i've had a lot of them over the years. Oh well, at over $6 US per gallon i guess we deserve some advantage.

Howdy my friend on the other side of the pond. I think our regular octane is 87, and premium is 93. I just switched to Sunoco for my gas. They say theirs is top tier gas. It's supposed to have more detergents to help keep things cleaner. 🤞

My first vehicle was a 250 2 stroke Enduro. Yes I rode it to high school and yes it was the 80s. RPM’s pegged out with a top speed of 50mph and made a hell of a racket. Could fill the tank for less than $3 and never checked the oil. Those were the days. 😂

Man, hearing how long you've been on KZbin, I had to go to your library of videos and start from oldest to find the first video that got me into your channel. 10 years ago - titled Gettin' Stoned At Stoneys, Santeria and My Hood. At least of the videos still up, it's gotta be around then. I actually remember the first time I commented was in a livestream after you put insulation boards up for sound proofing in the garage of the house you and Jessica lived in, just a little bit before The Dawghouse channel got made, long before I rebranded!! By the way, because of Jessica's Triumph Roadmaster, that bike remains pretty close to the top of my wishlist. One came up for sale at my local mom'n'pop shop, but someone sniped it an hour before I called the shop about it. womp womp. Anyway, all that to say, I've always loved the channel and Shadetree Army; the way you stay grounded in reality and speak your mind, whatever the consequences, has been inspiring. Day in day out, we see people lie to be polite, to get ahead, or avoid getting in trouble; it's just lies all around us. While you might stretch the truth sometimes, usually for comedic effect, the people who are part of Shadetree army are as real as you could ever hope to find. We usually have to ask our favourite youtubers 'please, never change' but I feel like Josh, Chey, Cammie and the rest never will either way. if you was to offer a ride ,say a day ride on any of your current bikes or past bikes i would choose the KDX over all of them. i spent my younger years staring at them in dirtbike mags lol. i got a XR200 in my mid teens and had a yamaha MX100 before it. always loved the 2 stroke brap. i love the bright green of a Kawa. if you ever get a 80s CR 250 i may change my mind ill admit lol. i love how the older bikes look. i guess cause i grew up when they came out lol. glad you got them running again. the trailer looked neat lol. good vid man

But I didn't start watching regularly until the harescramble videos, which in my mind was like 2 years ago, but I just checked and was apparently 7 years ago. Josh. The kdx has a wide ration transmision and heavier flywheel. Put a 125 flywheel and a different sprocket if you want it more wild. But really why would you? Miss my jdx. But i aged out!! 😂😂

KTM is so much better than Japanese bikes. I used. to like Yamaha But KTM is Australian made I believe. But yeah, man, it's crazy how expensive KTM is. But that's with anything. Man, I just bought the tobacco fade, low rider ST. And it was close to 30K. I'm still sick over it.

Dude KTM is made in Austria/Europe, not Australia. However nowadays they are made in China and that's probably why KTM why they are going bust, the company is facing serious reputational crisis related to the general low reliability of their bikes.
