It works the same way that tome does. Notice how you got all augments you put in. Including the 1/2 preserver (bard) emblem you got? I've played this augment 3 times and all times it has worked the same way as tome

Can someone explain why he played 6 portal over 8. He got Milio over Zoe and Morg over kassadin which is obviously worth in a way. But isnt 8 portal worth it, especially with the empowered randuins for the shield?

8 portal bonus is more items and he already has more than enough items with a milio 2

He would lose out on two other traits (mage, preserver or scholar), and he'd have _much_ lower quality units. Losing out on Bard isn't too bad, but he'd also have to give up Milio 2, Morg 2 or Nami 2, all of which are way more powerful than Kassadin or Jayce.

nami is way too important, in any case. not unless youve got 2 portal emblems and rocketing to 10, the shitter units you use for 8 portals just drags it down too much
