24 hour update.... My hands and feet are both badly bruised. The whole right side of my body is bruised and swollen. Road rash on my hip, right forearm, right foot, and my wrist has a nice lil hole in it. I'll heel up and be back at it soon! Thanks for the love and support! Sorry to hear this Chris, I crashed 4 years ago, spent 6 days in the hospital & brutal recovery from surgeries for 1 1/2 years. I had a racing Ducati jacket that saved my ass. You need more body armor in your gear. The plastic forearm guard saved my forearm but butchered the jacket amongst other areas. Glad you got lucky at that speed, could have been worse. Praying for your healing, love you videos!!!

Dude, that’s nothing: I blew a full rotator cuff, bicep, and 4 other tendons. My wipeout? PICKING UP my bike. At a gas station. At 68. July4. 6 weeks post op. HANG IN THERE- and wear some damn gear. 😜🤟🏻

i've had that road rash numerous times in my life been a drag racer with motorcycles since 1970 and I'm 71 years old I hate the road rash I'd rather break my arm then shred it my last bad one was Las Vegas on Stuart Boulevard the dog ran out in front of me of course the people that own the dog abandoned me on the road and left on their horses my hands were bandaged and had to be changed five times a day my fingers were ground down to the bone in numerous places and there's nothing like having your hands wrapped up in boxing glove bandages when it's 110° in Las Vegas I know exactly what you're going through brother but I'm so glad you came out the other side I'm a regular viewer especially since I've built seven custom high abuses so I love what you do with them you're also one of the best para legs I've ever seen wrapped around a bike true skill get well soon

I remember the 2 times i dropped the front end at low speed, had road rash all up my side, 2 weeks of pain every time i moved the scabs would tear. Glad you made it and are still alive. Get well soon my friend

Blew my fairings out 4 times now all over 200 in 1/2 mile pulls. Its a busa problem over 200mph. Lots of busas do it. Never seen anyone actually go down from the fairings blowing out. Glad youre ok chris.

@@palugi03tt on one of them yes. I had a land speed fender, it ripped under the front tire and went underneath the bike ripping off the belly pan i had made and went out under my back tire. Destroyed everything ripped off but didnt wreck.

I've had at least 5 Hayabusa over 190mph and never lost a body panel But I did have the battery cover blow off a 1983 Yamaha Virago xv535 at 115. Scared the hell out of the guy behind me on his 2004 Yamaha r6

Just watched the video,man she grenaded on you. Hope they gave you some feel good meds at the hospital. When they did my debridement they put me under in the OR Dr. said I would have 2 black eyes afterwards,he was right. Stainless steel brushing of the face is no joke,a couple hundred inside and outside stitches in forehead also. Best Wishes and no long term damage to you.👋👍

About a year or so I lost a good set of Bates leathers too. Recovery will test your patience because you'll need help to do many day to day functions. You'll also wear the video out trying to figure out what exactly happened. I think you will finally arrive at the conclusion that you pushed it just a little too hard with a bike that was off a bit. Good news is you won't make that mistake again and you got wonderful friends and family taking care of you. We are pulling for you.

I hope you have a speedy recovery Chris, I had a wreck on Oct 3rd, a woman pulled out directly in front of me on my way to work, luckily I didn't get thrown into the car, I was going maybe 60mph, I got launched over oncoming lanes and landed in the grass i got lucky on roadrash but I had a total of 8 surgeries and I need one more so I can raise my thumb but I am now in a physical therapy facility, bones sticking out of my right leg in multiple places, bones sticking out of my right arm, a vein had to be moved from my left leg to my right leg so I could keep the right leg, they said if i was any older they wouldn't have even tried to save my leg, in the hospital for 22 days, 5 days was in the icu, and now physical therapy hopefully for atleast a couple months i need alot to get back to normal, but ive been doing well for my situation, glad you're okay chris, for you to wreck at the speed you were going, we're lucky to still have you, in the condition we have you, get better man👍
