The night panel shuts off the speedo past 90 and then turns back on once you hit 85, but you have to enable it in the menu on the SiD (the little screen on the dash) Make sure you JB weld the bottom of those washer fluid sprayers because they like to come apart and leak the fluid everywhere. There's a 3rd company that makes tuning stuff specifically for saabs, they're called maptun and operate straight out of Sweden. Make sure you take off that trim piece with the trunk button on it and check for rust/corrosion. they're not very well sealed. That headlight switch is a dummy switch. saab did this because its an EU regulation that you must have you headlights on at all times and they didn't remove it in the cars destined for America. It doesn't have factory Bluetooth but you can buy a little Bluetooth module that takes the space of the aux cable on Saab plus for 80 euros. shipping takes a long time because its from Norway. That 6 cd changer sucks. it never works and its more complicated than a Rolex. The radio and SiD might not be lighting up because this car has a 3 (factory) amp system and all 3 of them must work for those to turn on. the under under the drivers seat usually gets exposed to the elements and breaks.

@@tsgorman the Town of Vail leased each one for around $200 per month during my time. It was a large discount for TOV and free marketing for Saab. The deal was the TOV could not cut anything out or remove any parts. They had to make custom brackets for the radios, lights, and MP5 mount. Yes we carried MP5s instead of shotguns. The crazy part was the suspects had to ride in the front passenger seat in handcuffs as we did not have a cage. They would be sitting right next to the MP5 mount. Great officer safety. I used to play jokes on the drunk people and turn on the heated seat. They would get quiet because they thought they pissed themselves when the seat warmed up. I've only driven manual transmission cars since 1991. I LOVE a manual transmission because I love driving a car or truck. I don't want the car or truck doing any driving for me. No, city traffic (when I am in a big city) does not bother me at all. No, being stopped on a hill does not bother me at all. No, driving in snow does not bother me at all. For some more insight, I also turn off the traction control because without it, I know exactly how the car is going to respond to what I am doing in the snow. WITH IT, I have no idea what the car is doing from one second to the next. It detects a slight wheel spin and kills the throttle that I am pushing. When the system is off, I know exactly how the wheels will spin, how the car will react to that, and what to do about it. I am in complete control, but if the system is on, and I go to pull out into traffic, and a wheel spins a little, the car will kill the throttle, and now I am a sitting duck for the car that's coming, which I could have avoided if the car did not kill my throttle. Make sense now?
