Honestly love these 2K rebuilds so much. Always get inspired to play some of the older 2K games and try my best to rebuild a franchise.
@codyy2056 ай бұрын
Same here. I also go back to older 2Ks to look back and see how everything changes when you go deeper into the simulation calendar and see how everything changes with progression and regression. And overall just gets you into your imagination what if you’re the gm of the team, and then you win title after title and say “this team should hire me.” I never played MyLeague much back then, but Clique and Kenny have influenced me to play MyLeague

it really seems like people are ignoring their younger players, not only are some like strawther, and watson good trade pieces, they’re also just good players, more so watson. he shot efficent last year on a lower tier shot, everyone expected a lot out of brain last year but i think that was unfair, he’s young and improving. he had a great season last year given his age and the pressure, and played respectably in the playoffs.. i have faith

One of the deepest and most talented teams I’ve seen you build with some crazy awesome draft lottery luck. The ending was tragic but sometimes that’s how it goes. Really fun to watch

Nah trae won't be traded
@BOnYTB7 ай бұрын
@@jasonrichardson1999I’m very curious what’ll happen. They have the 10th lotto odds, they have SAC 1st T12 protected in ‘25 and T10 in ‘26, but obv don’t have their ‘25 or ‘27 1sts, and ‘26 is a swap w/ SAS. Dejounte and Trae very clearly do not work, that’s not in any doubt. Trae would have more value, but honestly? Not significantly more. Like if you’re getting (hypothetical) LAL’s 1st in this draft, (P17 I think) their ‘29 1st maybe T3 protected or something incredibly light or unprotected, then a ‘28 unprotected swap along with let’s say JHS (3.88M), Vincent as filler, and maybe a Max Christie S&T on a team friendly deal (idk, 3/24M gtd with a 4th year team option flat loaded so 8M) or something like that. That’d be around 22-23M, then P17 salary would make it 26M or whatever. They’d figure it out, I think JHS + P17 + ‘29 1st + ‘28 swap + Christie on some super cheap heavily team controlled deal is enough value for ATL to take on Vincent’s 2y/22.5M contract. He’s healthy, and prolly overpaid but not like he’s a min player making 11M. Prolly a 5-8M player making 11 (depends how he plays next season when healthy with a full camp etc) or so. I’d value an LAL ‘29 1st very highly, obv LeBron will be gone, they won’t have any young guys really beside AR I guess and he wouldn’t even be that young anymore. They don’t have their ‘25 1st or ‘27 1st, and they’d be giving up their ‘29 1st and ‘28 swap in this deal along with JHS who was their pick last draft. So the ‘29 1st has immense upside, same with the ‘28 swap, and as ATL you have to expect you’ll be good by 27-28. Having 10/17 in this draft would give them flexibility to move up, to make one pick then move the other for a future 1st, or use one or both of the picks in some other move. They’d have ammo. They’d be able to trade 10/17, SAC 1st, their own ‘29/‘31 1sts, LAL ‘29 1st, then swaps including best of LAL/ATL in ‘28. They’d have Jalen Johnson still, Christie, JHS, Bufkin, Onyeka, AJ Griffin, obviously Trae, then the flexibility to re-tool by moving Capela and/or Bogdan/Hunter. So they could go in any direction they wanted really. Go young, immediately make a big trade to add another really good player, a mix of both, w/e. Sorry that was way longer than I wanted it to be. But basically I’m saying if LAL was offering P17 and a ‘29 1st and a swap, plus a young guy or two for Dejounte, are you really getting that much more for Trae? Maybe you could get your picks back from SAS for Trae plus like the CHI pick they have, and one other asset whether it’s another pick or like Keldon Johnson or something. Not many teams are gonna want to give up a ton for a tiny guard on a 30% max deal, and not many teams need a PG anyway. So ya I’d prolly just try to get the most I could from LAL, and then re-tool with all those assets and young guys. I see a lot of fans on social media discounting the value of far out picks like ‘29 LAL or ‘29 LAC unprotected etc. and I think that’s just extremely wrong. I’d rather have LAC’s 2029 unprotected 1st than BOS 2024/2026 1sts and it’s not relatively close. If you got rid of the stepien rule for a second for this hypothetical, I’d rather have LAC ‘29 unprotected and LAC ‘30 swap than BOS ‘24/‘25/‘26 1sts and that’s not close either. I think ppl just say oh you got x 1sts, but don’t understand quality over quantity. And you don’t have to draft with the pick in ‘29, but you can easily flip it to another team that will want to have that massive upside pick and it’d have huge value. Again apologies for the long post. Can’t sleep lol. But ATL obv needs to make moves, one of the PGs need to go and unless someone offers something nuts for Trae (like SAS offering all of ATL’s picks back plus CHI 1st and their T5 pick in this draft for example) then I just move Dejounte.
