Honestly, I think pitchers figured out weaknesses in his swing. If you look back on his MVP season, he started to really slow down in the second half, and really won it off his amazing first half and Yelich getting injured.

RGS, this is very weird. I started OOTP 23 today as the Angels and early in the season the Dodgers were willing to trade me Bellinger for fairly cheap (I'm guessing to get rid of his salary and because he was an FA?) But he bounced back for me not quite into MVP form but still a very very good player that got to play with Trout and Ohtani and helped win a WS. And now you post this video. Wild coincidences.
