The physical abilities of small terriers are just awesome. Those of Nixon in particular. What a heart-to-blood-volume-ratio he must have! (You also made an effort, which is nice.)

Absolutely love your channel! I was not a runner (powerlifting and bodybuilding) and am a heavier “athlete” at 212lbs @ 5’11 and 34 years old. I started my running with a dismal one mile “Run” at 11m27s. It’s been a month and a half of hard training, but I’m now at a comfortable 24 minute 5k. You’ve been a constant source of motivation, along with Nick Bare, on this journey. Thank you for being above average and pushing me to greater results than I could have imagined. I am now a runner for life and look forward to most of my runs 😂.

Really enjoying your videos. Normally pretty active, but I'd been in a rut for several months. But after watching a couple more of your vids last week, I got up early on the weekend for my first run and loved it, ditto mid week, and I have my first park run this Saturday. So thanks! But mostly I've been meaning to say how epic your wee dog Nixon is. I can't believe the distance those little legs can cover, wow! He must be so damn fit!

Great information again Mark, thanks for sharing. Now you have me interested in the Fenix watch although I don't believe I'm active enough to justify the expense. Any particular reason why you didn't wear it during the 100 mile bike ride? I've experienced the same HRM issue with Zwift and it drives me bonkers you can't tweak a setting and then return to your ride seamlessly. Above average effort, to be sure. Love Nixon, hope he got a few treats post run!

Hopefully some one has already mentioned this (or you have learned it on your own since) but you can enter Zwift settings during the ride just fine; but when you go to the pairing screen, your avatar always stops peddling. (This is actually a quick way to switch bikes during a ride. Pressing A on the keyboard brings up pairing screen, which stops you, so you can make a bike change faster. I just did it this past weekend during the Gran Fondo event before entering the Jungle circuit.)

Hi Mark. Great and interesting video again 👍🏻. I have just started doing short runs (3 miles) during my lunch break at work. When you first started running, did you ever feel pain or discomfort afterwards? Especially the next day. I can really feel it in my hips and sometimes sole of my feet. Just wondered if this was normal due to not being used to the impact etc? I have literally only just started so could it disappear if I continue or am I destined to only ever ride a bike 😆. Thanks.
