Colaps has spent the last 13 years honing his skills as a beatboxer. He has won titles such as Grand Beatbox Battle (GBB) Solo Champion, GBB 7 To Smoke Champion, French Champion, La Cup Worldwide Champion, and One-One International Champion. Aside from being an accomplished beatboxer, he has also amassed a very large social media following and is currently posting some of the most original beatboxing content in the scene.
During the interview, Colaps talks about how he trained for GBB, how he develops routines, how he learns and perfects sounds, and more! With this information, I developed a daily beatbox routine to do every day for the next month. @@griffsmotorthings You guys are awesome! For now, there are two main reasons to why I don't want to compete at this moment (doesn't mean I wont ever in the future though). First, its always though when you go to a battle and have no idea how the videos will turn out, meaning that maybe the organizers don't do a good job with either the video or audio and then your material doesn't get represented the way you want. Second, there is a lot of time and stress that goes into preparing for a battle and right now, I want to focus that energy on making content! I hope that anwsers your question!

Super cool video! I have a tip for you with the spit snare as well, I think your bottom lip is too low. If you raise your bottom lip higher relative to your top lip you’ll probably get a cleaner snare sound that’s closer to colaps’ spit snare. I’m excited to see your improvement and coming back to the scene!

Even though you dont really compete anymore ive always had you as an inspiration and one of my favorite beatboxers. Your unique style with all the tongue bass variations is so cool to me. This was a cool video, thanks for doing it. It might be interesting to see more about different beatboxers' practice routines. I'm not sure you need to do another challenge like this (though you could, perhaps with a shorter duration), but even if you could interview a bunch of people, you might be able to make a video comparing what people do: point out the things everyone does and the things that are unique to individuals. Just a thought, FWIW.
