In no way am I stating that "Natural" and/or "Afro" textured hair is bad/horrible. I received a lower quality "WIG" with detached cuticles that split up the shaft a few years ago. It caused the hair to mat uncontrollably. I refused to review it for you guys so it sat around collecting dust ever since. This can also happen to straight wigs, wavy wigs, all hair textures. Not just afro texture which is why many of you thought I was bashing OUR hair type. Sorry for the confusion! Out of curiosity and entertainment purposes, I decided to relax it. I apologize if I have offended anyone in the process of this video. ❤️

Elise the wig turned out pretty nice. I've done this before myself. My twin sister Andrea and I a long time ago relaxed some weaved hair and also a wavy wig because we wanted just like you to see if it would become straight. They both did and they turned out very nice, My advice is that if you decided to relax another wig, don't wash it first. Even though it is synthetic, relaxing it when it is unwashed or new will work better. It did for me and my sister because I think that the washing and conditioning effected the relaxer process on the wig. :)

I had one client get counterfeit extensions that were treated with metal hair dye. During the test strand the foil got so hot it almost burnt my hand and it was boiling and smoking. On natural hair even mineral build up can cause some nasty scalp burns, it’s scary stuff.
